"We used Pyramid to install quartz countertops in our kitchen, as well as a sink, faucet and garbage disposal (also used their subcontractor to install backsplash). This review is about the countertops and sink/faucet/disposal job-- we loved working with Bogi and the project came out beautifully. We didn't see the quartz we wanted in the Pyramid warehouse (although they had a great selection of granite and other stones), so Bogi suggested we look at MSI near Dulles. Bogi ordered the slabs we selected from MSI, coordinated the plumber to come when the counter top installers were ready for him, and even had them come back to clean up after the backsplash was installed by their subcontractor another day (he left some spilled grout on the countertop that we didn't notice until after he left.) The workers were clean, courteous and efficient."

"After receiving a ridiculous quote from a big box retail store, I decided to try my luck with Granite Works, and I'm glad I did.
The whole process was wonderful-all their staff were courteous and very helpful, and they answered all my questions completely. Their prices are very reasonable, they have a wide variety of options to choose from, they have good deals and specials, and they don't treat you differently if your project is a small one. They were very honest about all the charges, both actual and potential, and they always made sure I was comfortable with everything.
They explained their process to me and followed it to the letter. Their staff were always punctual, both for the templating, and for the installation. The installation went perfectly, and they gave me clear and specific instructions on how best to care for my new countertops.
I am very pleased with the quality of their service, and I still love my beautiful new countertops, sink and faucet. I highly recommend Granite Works.

Ronnie and Dave at Granite Vision were very friendly and helpful from the first time we walked in their store.  They have a wide range of colors to choose from and they let us spend a lot of time just walking around their warehouse looking, making just a few suggestions based on our price range and our kitchen setup (cabinets, wall color, etc).

The price above included the granite, as well as removal of our old countertops, new sink & faucet, and a plumber (which they can subcontract out or we could have used our own) to install the new sink and hook everything up.  In total, a comparable price to other estimates that we received.

I had to move the install day on them once - they were very flexible which was nice.  On the day of the install they showed up well within the window they gave me and did a great job.  Because of the shape of our counters they had to install the counters in two pieces with one seam, which you can't even tell unless you look closely.  The kitchen looks 100% better!

Service and product were first rate and I would definitely recommend them!

"The owner of Stone Depot, Nick Papas, offers hands on professional service.   I am a realtor, so great service is part of my professional standard and I appreciate it in others.  Nick was always available by phone and was very responsive.  I was nervous about selecting my granite, and I changed my mind at the last minute.   Nick was very gracious and allowed me to select another granite that I preferred. His team arrived for the installation on time and did an outstanding job.  The was a minor issue with caulking, and Nick sent someone out the next day to finish it off.  I could not be more happy with my granite and Stone Depot.  I was advised to personally select my slab of granite - which I did.  All granite is different, so that was good advice.  The location for selection was in Sterling VA, which was great for me since I live in VA.
I also checked out Counter Intelligence, but found the salesman was not very concerned and did not go the extra mile to get my business.  I  had to drive all the way to Silver Spring MD to look at samples of granite slabs.  That was to far to go.  Also, their price quote was higher.  The smaller company atmosphere at Stone Depot was a much better choice for me.  I highly recommend them!

"The day they came to repair, I could not be here.  When they cleaned they did a good job of protecting my shrubs and plantings.  They were very professional and got the job done in good time.
We are very pleased with the way our roof looks now and know that it will be good for many years to come.

"Dannie came to our home in August and gave us a verbal estimate on the job; he never gave us a written estimate which I believe could have prevented the misunderstanding about what the price included. He was not able to start the job in a timely fashion because he was involved in another job and the homeowner kept adding projects which kept pushing our job back. When Dannie started the job, he re-laminated our kitchen countertop and he did an EXCELLENT job! He also installed a new stainless steel kitchen sink which turned out to be the wrong one which had been shipped by the supplier (not his fault). This complicated the whole project and ended up increasing the price...again not his fault. Dannie was pleasant and stood behind his work but I felt that he needed to be more detail oriented. I had to call his attention to several things for him to resolve them.

"The experience was excellent! They have a large inventory of stone on sight and I was fortunate enough to find a remnant that met my needs making the pricing attractive. There was no pressure while browsing and when I made a decision the staff was efficient and professional during the process to select sinks, edge treatment, etc and finalize the paperwork. "Our experience with KBR was excellent. We started the renovation process by contacting multiple companies for quotes and designs. KBR was very prompt in response. KBR was always courteous and available at the agreed meeting times. Fatih, our designer, worked with us over multiple visits to help us design the new kitchen and pick out the cabinets, countertops, and hardware. Over a couple of weeks and several meetings, we were able to finalize the layout, cabinetry, countertops and outlets. The final design was set in a walkthrough at our townhouse with Fatih, Adam, the project manager, and Francisco, the technician. The on-site contractors were very courteous and tried extremely hard to keep our house reasonably clean. KBR lined the floors in the kitchen to protect our existing hardwood floor and lined the carpeted stairs from our ground floor to the second floor kitchen. The quality of the final renovation was excellent. As we discovered issues, Fatih, Adam and Francisco were readily available and helpful in resolving these issues. In the end, each issue was resolved to our satisfaction. The project was complete ahead of schedule. Despite the unanticipated issues, KBR was timely, efficient and professional. Furthermore, KBR paid attention to every last detail, including the final repaint of the entire kitchen. We are very happy with the finished product and we highly recommend KBR for those looking to renovate their kitchens."
