I had already tried what was suggested but he assured me we would see a service man the next day (Monday). Someone did call Monday morning and we did have a serviceman come out promptly. Albert was prompt, professional and immediately got to work. Our unit is underground and is difficult to get to but he went down there and worked until he got it working. It was a frozen line which he fixed and rerouted. He suggested a few things for another snow or freeze and left. The heater has been working since then. We would highly recommend Gentry Service in Swannanoa for new heating system or for service. We have been very satisfied from the beginning."

"We hired this company in 2021 to install a vent-free log set in our Asheville home. Recently, we discovered the burner installed is labeled Natural Gas, even though our home is supplied by propane. The unit has not been replaced, modified, or serviced since installation. A fuel mismatch is a fundamental configuration issue and should not occur with a properly installed gas appliance. When we brought this to the attention of the owner, Nick, and provided photos of the rating plate, the response focused on elapsed time and lack of inspections rather than addressing the documented fuel designation/mismatch. A replacement burner was offered only if we signed a broad hold harmless agreement releasing the company from responsibility related to the original installation. We declined. We ultimately replaced the unit independently through another company to ensure proper configuration and compliance. Fuel type is not a minor detail, it is basic to safe installation. Do not recommend. "

"I ordered a Sunsetter awning from Smart Repair. They ordered the wrong size and installed it on my house. I have been trying to get the awning replaced for 2 months. I am getting the run around and now no one will return my calls. Then I found out that this “deal” was almost twice the going rate for a similar product!! DON’T USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE PATIENCE AND MONEY TO BURN!! Edit: This is part 2 of my previous review of Smart Repairs. All of my paperwork says I ordered an awning from Sunsetters. After trying to resolve my original issue with the awning being too short, I find out that my awning isn't a Sunsetter awning at all but from a different company that I never heard of or was told of!!! FRAUD!! I am still playing phone tag with the owner- he is always out of the office and won't return my calls. I was told from another worker that the offer to refund my money was rescinded since I wrote negative reviews about the company. So now they are strong arming me and doing consumer fraud!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!"
