The corners were deteriorating badly, pieces were breaking away, and the whole thing was really starting to fall apart. I knew I needed to get it taken care of properly, so I called TriStone Masonry & Restoration. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. The guys removed the old deteriorated step and built me a completely brand-new step from scratch. The workmanship was excellent, everything was finished neatly, and the new step looks completely different from what was there before. The work was completed a couple of months ago and I haven’t had a single problem since. The step still looks great and feels solid and properly built. The whole team was professional, hardworking, and easy to deal with from beginning to end. "I am not yet able to determine whether or not the expected results of the basement waterproofing work is satisfactory as I have not had a rainstorm or heavy rain since the basement waterproofing work was performed. I will, however, pay great accolades to Quality 1st customer service, especially to Kyle. I was troubled with the proposal for the job as certain aspects of the language would have left me at an unfair liability should something had gone wrong with the work. I explained this issue with Kyle who followed through until the proposal was acceptable to me. The work crew was exceptional in that they were punctual, worked quickly, neatly and were, without question, among the hardest workers ever to have done a construction project for me. The crew was headed by Wilver along with his guys - Manuel and Jose. Again, I will refrain from commenting on the expected results of the work performed until the appropriate circumstances occur. In summary, I would say that Quality 1st demonstrated A1 customer service and the crew that performed my basement work were hard workers with great attitude."

"I had a small but complicated, hard to access, and structurally essential repair job on a 60-year-old concrete deck attached to my 280-year-old Pennsylvania limestone farmhouse. I contacted several masons listed for my area on Home Advisor, and included Mr. Grady as a long shot -- I read about his expertise with historical structures and wished I had access to such an expert craftsman, but I didn't think he'd be interested in my teeny job and assumed I wouldn't be able to afford him anyway. He was the first one to return my call and to look at the job, and I thought his price was fair. I believe now it was way more than fair, considering the time he spent. He did extensive research, going over a structural engineer's report I had done previously on the deck and even examining the original architectural drawings and materials invoices from 1959. He showed up at least three times to complete the repair in stages, and has been back a half a dozen times since then to check the job -- and my location is not exactly in his neighborhood. He accepted only enough payment in advance to pay for lodging for himself and his assistant when they stayed nearby one night in order to be there early the next morning. He gave and continues to give free advice about preserving my stone house and patio. If you prod him a little, he might even share some of his personal philosophy, earned over a lifetime of work that is clearly more of an art form than a job to him. Overall, I'd say you can hire one of many competent contractors and get an adequate job, or you can hire Mr. Grady and get superior work by someone who cares about your property as much as you do."

"Nick and team were extremely helpful, informative, responsive and did exactly what they said they were going to do (and even better when they said they were going to do it). Nick was very reachable via email and was more than willing to help. I hope to never need a foundation expert again, but if I do I know that I would definitely have them do the work."

"Tom was very polite and knew his stuff when he came over for the estimate.  Always on time and if he was running late called.    Estimate was very competitive with others after a little bit of going back and forth with provider.   I made sure to be very specific on understanding what was a typical installation as included in the price and what I wanted done.  Worked with Kelly in their office who was very helpful in scheduling and any questions along the way.   They took care of permits and inspections.   They started the job on the promised date.  Full project took about a week.  Stopped over to see progress on first day and noticed some walls were not totally removed as promised.  After crew called back to the office to confirm they finished up as required.    Jackhammered the perimeter floor and installed drain without any issue.  They were able to use existing sump pits with some effort but they did it.  Existing floor tiling cut as straight as possible when trench was dug to allow for replacement tiles after installation.   Could have easily just tore the floor up without regard for owner having to replace but they didn't.  Stuff in basement was covered the best they could but there is a lot of dust with this work.  Fans & filters used to minimize mess.    After completion of work noticed some damage to drop ceiling and some other small issues when I did the final walk thru before final payment.  Spoke with project manager over the phone and described what was wrong.  Foreman and project manager stopped over to see the issues and spent the day correcting everything...going to Home Depot to buy whatever was needed, making repairs, etc.     Things happen during a job but these guys really took care of things the right way to keep the customer happy.  i would definitely recommend Healthy Way for this type work.
