"Top to bottom, the experience of working with Patio Enclosures (in Bensalem PA) was excellent--from sales advice and design, to the quality of the product, the installation, and the finished product. We are glad to have made this investment in our home with this company. Many different contractors were contacted, but it always involved selecting all materials that added cost. This company specializes in the patio enclosures and has their own frames (aluminum or vinyl--in 3 colors) with their own glass (single or double paned). Tom, the salesman was excellent, as was Dan (the manager) and the installers were courteous, capable, professional, and experienced. I highly recommend this company. Please keep in mind, however, that you must arrange for your own flooring and electricity and lighting--which is a small price to pay for the installation of a great and a reasonable system."

"This is the second time we have used Rowland and the team at Dwell Renovations. We built a full addition for my mother in law. Kitchen, living room, bath, bedroom. We couldn’t be happier with how it came out and my MIL is unbelievably pleased. Rowland and all of the contractors, electricians, plumbers and tile folks treated the job like they were working on their own homes. They were patient with our hundreds of questions and requests. Rowland kept us in the loop every step of the way and met , or beat, every timeline. He always had great advice and a keen eye for the details."

"It is not often that I would rate any company a 10/10 but First State Building and Design blows away the competition! Andrew Roten answered my numerous questions promptly and quickly about tearing down and rebuilding the deck.. The work crew was first class and did superior work. (They did a fantastic job of keeping the work place clean and not dropping any nails, wires, etc for my dogs to step on.) I would highly recommend FSBD to anyone! (Tried to include different views of their work!)"

"Joe was the only handyman I contacted who was willing to do the job I had; I guess the job was "too small" for everyone else. What he realized (that the others didn't) was that a job may seem small, but it's important to the homeowner - especially if the homeowner doesn't have the skill or time to do it on his own! I really appreciated his willingness to help. He had a big project going on, but he was able to fit me in between that. He was very responsive and professional. He did a great job on reversing my french door. I'd hire him again for other jobs."

"It went very well. Rob and his sons came out to assess the work and provide an estimate. They were very pleasant, courteous and professional. They came out to perform the work and put in a very long work day. Despite the warm temperature they kept working continuously. They did an excellent job on repairing our ceiling and performing drywall and painting at our home. We were very pleased with the quality of work, and that they are very friendly, hardwarking ,professional and courteous. And they helped us meet some tight timelines to get things done. We would likely use their services again."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Bridgeton, NJ

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
