"Anthony Nastasi of NB Woodworks, LLc, has our highest recommendation. He has worked with us over the past year on a variety of projects aimed at refurbishing and improving our home. This has included exterior trim replacement, replacing a box window with a French door and side light unit, and replacing a large unusually sized window. He also built a beautiful mahogony deck. Indoors, he installed a french door which included fine trim work. In addition, he hired excellent subcontractors to powerwash and paint our home and build a patio, porch and walks. We highly recommend Anthony's carpentry skill, as well as his problem solving, planning and coordination skills. He is also a dependable, honest person of fine character."

Mr. Handyman and Ron Potesky's team turned an attic into a bedroom with A/C and heat, built a closet, replaced major kitchen appliances, replaced carpeting, replaced all smoke and CO2 detectors, re-wired ceiling fans, painted all interior walls, powewashed the deck and vinyl fence, then painted the deck, removed and donated or disposed of all furniture and personal items of the tenant. The team coordinated all appointments of city inspectors and professional sanitization of a very dirty space. When Mr Handyman was done, the intetior of the house looked like something out of Better Homes and Gardens! The team could be totally trusted with the housekeys. They coordinated with the realtor and the house sold in one week end!!! "The job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job!
