I had major work done (Had two bathrooms renovated completely (remove a bathtub and extend the shower and make a closet in one of them), tear out the hard wood floors and polish the concrete, paint the kitchen cabinets and install a backsplash and put in new carpeting in the bedrooms and paint the whole place. "Kevin McCray and his team did a drive through the neighborhood and knocked on my door to ask if I wanted my trees trimmed. I have received several quotes in the past from professional arborist companies which were very high so we could not complete the work even though it was in serious need of being done. McCray's quote was very fair, and while it didn't cover the full extent of work our past quotes had, it covered the main areas of concern for me so I decided to move forward.
if you are looking for a place that will provide full written contract and such, this is probably not the service for you. However, if you are budget conscious and just want a job well done, then they are great. Very professional and courteous team, did work safely with no damage to our house or yard and cleaned up after themselves so you can't tell they were even here. Walked through the scope of work before and after to ensure we were on the same page about what was to be done and for what price. And no money exchanged hands until I was walked through and happy with the result.

I can't speak to their other landscaping work as I didn't have any done, but they do offer other landscaping services as well."

"The experience was really good. They showed up on time for the appointment. They completed the work a little later than anticipated. The work took about a week and a half to complete. However, the garage door does not work now so we need them to come back out and fix that."

Mr. Fisher has very good credentials and more than 39 years in general construction business experience. I would like really to deal with Mr. Fisher as I have another concrete project, additions, roofing and build a bigger shed. Just wondering, if this a good sign of a good contractor! May be some good reason?"

"Everything went well. Mr. Langhorne was very pleasant, and immediately responsive. He came out, assessed the situation, offered a reasonable price, and returned in a timely manner to effect the repairs. I absolutely recommend this business. I don't have "after" pictures yet."

"I had made a poor hiring decision with a different landscape contractor.  I needed some drainage issues fixed, lot regrading, and sod placed.  The first contractor did an awful job not only failing to fix the problems, but actually making them much worse which caused flooding and water damage to the basement we were in the middle of finishing.  It became an emergency situation in the midst of some really wet weather.  I did more research this time, and chose the Garrett Group.  Dave was very responsive and sympathetic to my situation.  He came out within 12 hours of my inquiry to survey the situation and make his recommendations.  He immediately made me feel comfortable that I was making the right decision.  Night and day from the first guy.  His estimate was not only reasonable, but almost half of the other two companies I contacted. He and his crew came out on time, got the work done quickly, and impressed me with their professionalism.  The drainage issues were much, much better but still not 100%.  I contacted Dave after the next rain and he was out again within hours.  He and his crew returned to do a little more work, and problem solved.  It has been such a relief to have the situation taken care of.  I would not hesitate to recommend the Garrett group and I will use them again in the future.  In fact, I am writing him this evening for a quote.  Couldn't be more pleased.

"The provider showed up on time and prepared.  There were some issues with the internal wiring of my house (1930s construction) that complicated installation.  He informed me of my two options -- one was to have the fan installed, but it could not be controlled by the wall switch, or the other was to rewire the wall switch and the wiring to the fan to allow the fan to be controlled by the wall switch -- at a substantial cost.  I liked that he was honest with my about my options rather than merely stating it would cost me extra to install the fan, given the age/condition of the wiring.
