"Price was good. Roofing and gutter replacement completed on time. Good group to work with, I would definitely recommend - great job."

"The estimator came within a few days of my initial call. He was prepared to explain what a Solatube is. We had already seen them in a neighbor's house so he proceeded to see where we wanted them. He looked in the attic, took some measurements, and provided a written estimate on the spot. The estimate included the Angie's List discount. The installation was scheduled around some other contractors. On installation day, the team hit traffic but called to explain their delay. Jeff and Eddy proceeded to place the skylights and mark where the holes would go in the roof. They did a very careful and thorough job with the exterior installation; Amazing Skylights are very proud of their no leaks ever record and work hard to maintain that. While one installer was on the roof the other was preparing the duct work to go between the diffuser and the roof installation. The product is designed so that it accommodates any angle between the ceiling and the roof by simply twisting the articulated ducting. It is a very clever design and an easy way to ensure an exact fit. One of the solatubes was replacing an existing ceiling light fixture and we used that wiring to power a light kit in that solatube. There was a problem with the original light kit. The team ran a several tests to isolate the problem and concluded that it was a bad part. At no time did they even hint that it was something wrong with the existing light fixture. They replaced the faulty light kit with a new one and completed their work. The interior and exterior fit and finish is excellent. We've had several bouts of very severe thunderstorms as well as some prolonged soaking rains and there are no leaks. We are delighted with the light these solatubes provide, even on cloudy days. It looks like some left a bright light on in the interior bathroom and the hallway where we installed these solatubes."

"Brian was great with communication. The team were professional and did a great job on my roof. I was very pleased with the outcome. The price was right!"

"We received a drive-by visit in early September from Presidential Exteriors canvassing the neighborhood and while we knew we were living on borrowed time, with our roof last replaced before 1991, we don't do business with companies we don't know and trust. In this case I said no thank you, and the canvasser made a last comment that struck a chord, to look them up online. After checking their references, even though a fairly new company, they had very positive feedback in Angie's List. I then called and made an appointment and my wife and I were impressed with the salesperson, Ben (we've never had someone climb around the unfinished attic in completing their assessment) for his knowledge, genuineness, detail, and approach, and we signed a contract to renovate our roofing with architectural tiles and to install wider gutters (all in preparation for global warming). Over two days, the crew of two performed an amazing job at removing multiple layers of very old shingles (resulting in less full shingles being removed, and mostly partially torn pieces) and the care and cleanup left the full area around the house and bushes almost clean. Understandably, with any re-roofing I cannot imagine you wouldn't have some small amount of cleanup and a few full handfuls of nails and staples over the following months. In our case, in the subsequent week we have found over 60 nails so far using our own magnetic broom (purchased at Home Depot). The third day found the crew finishing the roofing and the other contractors arriving to remove and install the new gutters. So far, the new roof and rain gutters look great and we're cautiously awaiting the approaching storm season."

"I couldn't be more pleased with the deck repair that Jose and Melvin of JW Home Improvement performed for us. The attention to detail, beautiful joints, use of screws instead of nails, and the particular attention appearance and completeness. The site was left spotless. A special thanks for your dedication to working in such cold weather. Thanks."

"I can't praise My Roofer, Harrison Edwards' Company 571-659-5228 enough. His patience when there was a mixup on my part regarding his returning to finish the job indicates the quality of his company. He came back to paint the porch and realized it needed to be power washed first, and then returned. I highly recommend him to everyone. *****stars. Harrison also owns My Painter which is located in the same office. He started about 4 years ago and became one of the top rated companies in arlington. He hopes to do the same with the roofing. I am certain he will succeed!"

"He took pictures of the roof areas that needed to be fixed and gave me a fair quote on the spot. He went right to work and was very professional. One suggestion I have is to contact him directly via phone instead of using the Angie's List messaging system. He was very responsive by phone. Thanks Chris for fixing the roof! We'll definitely call you in the future."

"Excellent! Had the squirrels removed and whole roof replace"

"I sought out three bids from highly rated Angie's list roofing companies. I eliminated one company that would not provide an estimate unless they could present it in person with my wife present (code for high-pressure sales). The second company was great, but did not get their bid to me until almost a week after they promised it. By comparison, Joe Makay got right back to me on first contact and every time I had a question. He was able to work my project into the schedule within a week and got got the entire large and complex job done in just two days. The end result was outstanding and well worth the price. I only rated their price as a B because their cost was somewhat higher than the other (larger) company that bid; however I went with Mckay because they were more responsive and customer service focused. I felt confident they would take good care of me and they did just that."

"Over the last couple of years we have hired Roof Peak for several roof inspection and repair work and they have always been prompt, timely, and honest with their estimates and the completed work. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing contractor."
