Everyone we dealt with, from Mike in sales to the crew that came out and did the crawl space to Ken and crew 7 who insulated the exterior walls, were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the product and installation. We were concerned to have foam insulation installed in 14 degree weather. They came out and were efficient and done in shorter time then they anticipated. The difference was remarkable immediately, the house has always been drafty and cold. We could feel a difference right away. The price was better than we were expecting. We would definitely use Retrofoam of Michigan again!"

"The insulation was installed as promised on the appropriate date, we are satisfied with the insulation. The problem was the work crew was extremely careless. There was foam insulation over the front door, front windows, they have to take off your siding in different areas, I am still picking up hundreds of screws. Foam insulation is still being picked up in my front mulch. Tarps were supposed to be laid and were not put down. My basement was another problem, it is finished with the Dow Corning type system, again, tarps were not used. There is foam insulation in three different areas that do not come off the cloth walls. When we started to point out these issues, they seem very concerned. The crew came back out and power washed the front of my house. The foam did not come off. They used our water for their power washer, left it running which created an ice dam in our back yard. On several occasions, we have tried to get some form of compensation for the basement and they are always looking into it; We are satisfied with the insulation, but everything was such a mess it was not worth it. I would look at other companies."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"After the water removal guys finished in came the project lead - Dave.? The office team re-worked projects and got us in early due to the continued leaking.? Added a temp cistern/and blast tube to outside in a matter of hours.? Returned on the planned date and finished the new drain system in 2.5 days.? Also installed the new, monster of dryness dehumidifier. Recommended the contractor to cut out water damaged drywall and repaint.
