"Jonathan and his crew replaced guttering on our house back in 2010, and when it came time to install gutters on another house I'm selling, I knew exactly who to call. Jonathan came quickly to provide a quote, which was very fair considering the amount of work to be done. Once we agreed to proceed and picked out a color, they went to work and completed the job well in time for closing. The guttering looks great, and the new homeowners will be very happy with everything - I feel relieved knowing that the work was done right and will definitely use Precise Home Specialties again in the future."

"From start to finish Groundworks has been a great company to work with!! Jose and Jeremiah just finished up the Poly Renewal and Darlin, Tyler and Carlos did an excellent job installing the AquaStop Gutter system. All the employees were informed, professional and easy to talk with including Natasha the scheduler. I highly recommend this company."

"Arrived earlier than expected time. Installation was completed the same day(3 to 3 1/2 hours). Installers were courteous, personable and professional during the install. Area was levelled and back to normal. Would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work completed."

"It went very well. I called around 11am and they had someone here by 1pm. This gave us time to buy the faucets. Mike and Logan were professional, polite, and efficient. They did leave briefly to purchase the garbage disposal and some tubing they needed that did not come with the faucets that we purchased. They cleaned up when done, and everything worked properly."

"I called them out before to put a camera inside the sewer line and find out why our bathroom kept backing up. They said dirt had collapsed on the line and snapped it in two. They dug up a small section on the eastern side of the house and pulled up the pipe. The workers explained to me exactly what they were doing, and even showed me the old pipe that was full of tree roots and crumbly. One of the workers apologized for taking all day and for me and my family being in the house with no water while they did the job, but we weren't upset. They quickly finished not too long after. Seth, who scheduled the job, was extremely helpful, nice and professional throughout the whole project. I would definitely recommend them to others."

"I had a water line collapse from water meter to the house. They had to dig the line, replace it and they had to install a back flow preventer. The lead plummer called and ask if they really had to install the back flow because it was so expensive. They did have to install it and they did a good job. They had to use some equipment that did mess up my yard but other then that they worked hard and I give them a B rating."

FAQs for basement drainage channels installation projects in Broken Arrow, OK

Expect a well-built French drain to last 30 to 40 years. By channeling both surface- and ground-water away from your foundation, the system relieves hydrostatic pressure and helps prevent costly structural damage. Choose a pipe with a quality cloth filter to keep sediment out and extend the drain’s life. A quick annual inspection and routine cleanouts will keep water flowing freely, ensuring the system continues to protect your home for years to come.

Most French drains sit two feet below grade, but depth ultimately depends on the problem you’re solving. For puddling rainwater or snowmelt, a shallow curtain drain at lawn level often does the trick. To handle rising groundwater, pros dig deeper, down to the footing, and run the pipe beneath the basement slab. A drainage contractor will determine the optimal depth for your specific soil conditions and water issues.

A properly installed interior French drain captures water at the slab, channels it to a sump pit, and directs it safely outside, preventing basement floods before they occur. Because the pipe sits just under the floor edge, a plumber can reach it easily for cleaning or repairs. Pairing the drain with a reliable sump pump gives you the best long-term protection.

Hire a contractor who installs drainage systems every day—typically a foundation specialist, drainage contractor, experienced landscaper, or plumber with waterproofing experience. These pros understand slope, soil, and local codes, and they have the equipment to trench safely around utilities. Ask for references and photos of recent jobs to be sure they can design a system that keeps water off your foundation for decades.

Once the drain is in, patch the yard by reseeding bare spots or replacing plants the crew removed. Inside, look for ways to add value—finishing the basement or upgrading interior waterproofing while the space is open often costs less now than later. Schedule a quick annual checkup to flush sediment and confirm the pipe and sump pump are clear. Consistent maintenance ensures the drain functions properly and protects your investment.

Most policies don’t cover the cost of repairing a French drain itself, but they may provide coverage for water damage if the system fails. Coverage varies by insurer, so be sure to read the fine print or contact your agent before any issues arise. If you live in a high-risk flood zone, consider a separate flood policy to close the gap. Knowing your coverage in advance helps you budget for repairs and avoid unexpected costs.
