"I will start by saying that after so many times of attempts to repair my
door, finally I found the place who could make the garage door work
again,and the funny thing that I paid the same amount I paid for repairs and service
that didn't work.
We have been experiencing difficulties closing our garage door.Our door is new
and the company that installed the door came 3 times and tried to repair
the problem,apparently the safety sensors kept breaking.After 2
attempts in which we paid 175$,we called Long Island Garage Doors to come
and fix the door for us.They said they are busy during the weekend with
emergencies,and if it is not an emergency, they will send someone on
Monday,and that the service fee will ONLY BE 15$$. This was already cheaper than
what we paid to the previous company.
Jon called on Monday morning to let us know he is on his way. I must say that he was very
friendly,and explained to us what the problem is and what need to be
done to fix it.He said that the safety sensors are damaged,and they need
to be replaced,and that the replacement will cost 175$.I was surprised
since I paid the same amount before just for repair.Of course I said
yes.
He completed the work in about half an hour,explaining
everything he was doing along the way.After making sure the action on
the garage opener door met his satisfaction,and that the sensors are
working again,he asked me to test the door.I liked the quality of the
work,the honesty,and the communication,and more than that, I love the
fact that door is working fine again,and this time the door doesn't get
stuck every other day.
The service we got form from Long Island Garage Doors was great, so I can recommend to use their services if you
need garage door repair or installation.
