"I’m delighted with my new kitchen. When I first started my search for a kitchen remodeler, I wanted one company that handled the entire process from design, cabinets, countertops, installation, electrical, and plumbing. American Kitchen Concepts fit that requirement. Dan Millard, owner of American Kitchen Concepts, helped me envision various layouts and options, before I ultimately decided upon the final design. He had many cabinet, countertop and hardware samples to choose from. He made the selection process easy and stress-free. At demolition, his crew was courteous and respectful. They cleaned up every evening and made sure dust was under control. When the cabinets were delivered, we were informed that two critical pieces were going to be delay by at least three weeks, which would have delayed the entire cabinet install. Dan recommended alternative pieces which provided the same storage capacity and preserved the original design look. He was able to have these new cabinet pieces delivered in three days and kept the project moving forward. We had a three-week vacation planned and trusted American Kitchen Concepts to continue with the project without our daily presence. Dan kept us informed of progress and when we returned our kitchen remodel was finished. Dan conducted a quality control visit and took care of any remaining issues. "The individuals from Baltimore's Best Tub Refinishing did some excellent short notice repairs on my master bath tub.  I noticed about a month ago that the tub was leaking down into our half bathroom, a floor below and within a week Bruce was able to set up a date with me to have a template made for the inlay, and have it installed two weeks later.  Since the crack wasn't where the inlay would be installed, the team also conducted a repair to the leak/crack area, and used foam to add increased support to the weak spot the crack occurred in.  Bruce contacted me himself to walk me through the process prior, and even sent a video of what the inlay would look like.  The install and repair only took a few hours and upon completion, the team gave direction on how to properly care for the new inlay and repair.

"For several years, we’ve been planning to replace our kitchen counters. When Angie’s List promoted a deal offered by Jeffress Stone, we inquired whether this was the deal we’d been looking for. And it really turned out to be, from quality of the stone to craftsmanship to value. First, Jeffress sent us photos of the stones included in the deal. When we realized we couldn’t make a decision based solely on photographs, Jeffress arranged for us to visit their warehouse, where we were treated graciously. But we found something we liked much more than the samples, and feared that the up-sell would bust the deal. But the added cost proved to be reasonable and fair. Both direct contacts were professional and timely. Gary arrived a few minutes early to make measurements and the template, and that process took nearly two hours. As a result, the finished stone fit perfectly. Similarly, the installation crew arrived a few minutes early, and the owner, Dave, followed close on their heels. He was present throughout the entire installation. We were especially impressed by the care with which the crew mixed caulk to match our cabinets exactly for one tricky seam. The crew took care to clean up when the job was done and to make sure we were satisfied with the installation. We’ve received several compliments on the new look in our kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jeffress Stone."

"We initially hired Tony to clean and refinish our hard wood floors. Tony came to the house and explained his work philosophy and how his team would do the work. He was thorough and answered all of our questions. The workers came on time, and did a great job bringing 20-year old floors back to life. We were so pleased that also called on Tony to put in new carpeting on the basement for us. Again, he did a great job addressing and remedying any concerns that we had.
