"I hired Bob to do repairs and renovation of a condo rental unit. He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. Bob is a great problem solver and works with you to suggest ways to do repairs for the best outcome while keeping costs down. His work is high quality. I would definitely hire him again."

"Tom Cromer and his crew replaced a damaged wooden window with a new, vinyl window. They also performed some general carpentry, like planing a door that was scraping the floor, and they repaired some siding that had been displaced by an ice dam during the winter. They did an excellent job, were friendly, and cleaned up everything afterwards. They completed the job in a day and a half. This is the third time we've hired Cromer Remodeling, so you know we've been satisfied with their work."

"I had been compiling a list of projects /repairs for quite a while. Reached out to Todd Booth’s company based on the 5 star reviews! Working with these professionals was EXCEPTIONAL at the very least. My “punch list” included repairing/purchasing/replacing new doors, hanging a bannister, replacing a baluster, measuring and ordering an outdoor screen….hanging a light, plastering-painting and the hanging curtain rods, assistance with restoring bar stools …. Within days I was emailed a detailed quote on each project! Todd and Dave were punctual, professional, kind, tidy and just really nice people! "Started the job. Got money to start and wouldn't come for months. Gave picture of bathroom tile and how it was to be laid. Didn't pick up at all like it was to be laid. He didn't remove a pipe from the roof, so water leaked in, soaked the insulation and left a water stain on the ceiling. I would never recommend him to anybody. I really trusted the guy. A true rip off."

"The work was excellent! We were selling the property and it was in bad need of a paint job. They transformed the house, scrapping all the peeling paint, fixing the rotted wood and even replaced a rotted window that they found while scraping the wood. The house sold on the 1st weekend and everyone loved the paint job. The home inspector also commented on how nice the paint job was. "After contacting them, Gerry came out to look at everything and provide an estimate.  We had cedar shakes with old, peeling, (probably lead) paint, and he was able to answer all our newbie questions about what paint he preferred, how long it lasts, how the heck are we going to pick colors, and so on.  His estimate was in line with others we had received, on the lower end.  We liked that he was able to handle a variety of contracting work beyond painting, so if anything came up it would be easy to deal with.
When it came time to do the work, Gerry, his son, and team were very speedy.  The whole house took about four days, much of it on the porch because that's where all the old mulitpane windows are.  They did a great job capturing and disposing all the old scraped paint.  After we started to see things come together we had a few minor changes in where we wanted to swap trim colors, and they were able to accommodate and work with us.  On the outside of the porch there were some areas with irregularly chipped paint that looked kind of weird, which they heat-gunned off before painting and now look great.  The only snag is that having protective canvas down on some plants for a week damaged a few of them (not that they were particularly nice in the first place).  Next time I would have a conversation beforehand about what parts of the yard are ok to cover up for more than a day or so.
Everything looks great and we've gotten many compliments from neighbors - we're very happy with the new look!
