"The service I received was exemplary other than a delay imposed by the Labor Day holiday weekend. I had detected a potential leak in the water line to the house after noticing a portion of my lawn was saturated. I called the leak in on Thursday morning before the Labor Day weekend, and Mathew Thatcher arrived within two hours. He cut off the water and spent the next few hours tracing water and sewage lines into the house and detecting the probable source of the leak. He went out of his way to minimize the potential cost of this tracing operation. In addition he performed a number of minor interior repairs that I had delayed performing. These included replacement of a rusting garbage disposal and repair of a recently developed toilet leak. My only possible caveat was the fact that the full repair could not be done until the following Tuesday. However, we got by turning the main water line on and off (using a key loaned to us by Mr. Thatcher) when water was needed. The leak was repaired on Tuesday after ripping up a small portion of the driveway and replacing a cracked plastic connector (undoubtedly an earlier repair to the line done many years ago) with copper piping, installing a sewer line clean out and water line cut off inside the house and repairing the driveway. I would like to particularly single out Mr. Thatcher for his helpfulness, complete explanations of potential problems and options at each step of the way, and focus on finding the least expensive method of completing an inevitably costly repair."

"I would recommend them. On this remodel I lived about 140 miles away from where he was doing the work so I basically just gave him my key and told him to do what we agreed he needed to do.  He had one of his employees meet me. When I had to come up there and do stuff he was very thorough and made sure I liked it. He guided me on what I should and should not do If the main contact person were closer, like within 30 miles of my house, he would be remodeling my house now. He has very good taste and ethics. When they were repairing the fascia board and soffits they were very conscientious. There was a family of squirrels living in the roof and they would not do any more work until they got every squirrel out of there. They also washed my daddy's 80-year-old truck and pumped up the tire after the city came by and gave him a ticket because if was dirty and had a flat tire. He is blunt and will not lie."

"The owner was responsive to provide a bid and started work on the agreed upon day. The foundation repair seems to be of good quality and I would recommend them for this type of repair. They work met all expectations for this portion of the project. We included a small tuck pointing project on a wall and masonry refinishing of a porch step as part of the contract. This small part of the project overshadows the entire job based on the poor quality of work. The pictures below show the tuck pointing AFTER the first attempt to fix the problem. They did not even touch the worst bricks at the top and poorly applied masonry on the bottom part as shown in the picture. On the step, they patched the a portion that was flaking and left the remainder of the step untouched. The owner said he didn't think we had agreed to fix the whole step (why would anyone only patch one foot of a six foot step? ...and it was specified in the contract). He made the requested repairs after the first attempt and less than two weeks later, the second picture shows the end results. It crumbled like sand without touching it! I emailed the owner and asked how he would like to handle the situation and he never responded back. Masonry work is not their specialty....Floors Sag and Shake doesn't apply to masonry! I don't normally write reviews, but I can't let this go without sharing."
