"These guys were fantastic from beginning to end. Ryan showed up on time and was very thorough in discussing and addressing my needs and was very prompt with his quote. He even warned me in advance that they would probably be slightly more than the competition. After researching many companies I still chose Tim's based on far less negative reviews, despite the slightly higher cost. I could not be happier, it was totally worth it. This is easily the best quality fence I have ever seen. The work was completed on time with no issues and no surprise extra cost items that always seem to creep into jobs. I had a special request to install dogproofing along the fence to prevent 3 big, determined, dogs from chewing through or digging under. The guys designed a fence that my dogs will NOT be able to get through and that still looks great inside and out. I am especially happy with the gate, which had to be modified on the fly due to unforeseen issues. The guys were able to make all the modifications on site with no delays. "We called and arranged for an estimate. Buck came out on time and left a detailed plan and estimate. The estimate was in line with what we were expecting, so we accepted. The work was arranged for the following week. The first day they did not come due to rain--did not let us know until their scheduled arrival time. The second day the crew came over an hour after the scheduled time. The crew worked efficiently, was friendly and showed flexibility. They had all the work done by evening, including cleanup and hauling away the old fencing."

"The pergola was a challenge because we wanted a covering installed above it that would allow rain to run off to the two side gutters of the house.  Charles and his crew were able to saw the upper beams of the pergola so that the desired angle was achieved. No small achievement since the pergola is about 15 ft above the deck! They did an awesome job.  Now we can sit outside and enjoy our deck rain or shine.  The few times that we did want adjustments or corrections, Charles made sure that everything was fixed to our satisfaction. 
I really was very impressed by their professionalism as well.  The same crew showed up each day promptly and they made sure that they left the job site clean each day before they left.  They were very courteous and it was clear that they cared about the quality of their work.  I would recommend this company without hesitation.  We have dealt with many construction contractors through the years, and this company is one of the best we have ever found.

"After reviewing Angie’s list, I was able to identify two (2) general contractors in my area. The first provided a general hourly quote over the phone and scheduled an appointment to provide me the number of hours required to complete the work. The second general contractor was Gulf Coast Master Craftsmen. Michael Mortensen (owner and master craftsman) contacted me regarding my request for a quote and scheduled a meeting based upon my schedule which was approximately 6:30 pm to accommodate my work schedule. When I arrived home, Michael was waiting for me and we proceeded to discuss the work that was needed in addition to discussing additional work that I wanted completed. Michael recommend coming back the following day with equipment to better inspect the entire house trim to identify rotted areas in order to provide an accurate quote. A detailed quote was provided by the end of the day with pictures of damaged/rotted trim. Once approval was provided, Michael started the project within a few days. Michael notified me when he arrived at my property to start work in addition to sending me pictures at the end of the day of work performed. The project was completed in 2 days and I was once again asked to meet Michael to conduct a walk-through of work that was completed to ensure my satisfaction. The house looks much brighter (amazing what new trim and paint can do!) and although I did not anticipate having to replace house/chimney trim – Michael was able to respond and complete the work quickly to avoid disruption. I am extremely detailed and expect high level of service from anyone I hire. The work performed was seamless - the work blended well and does not look patchy which was a concern seeing as how sections were replaced. Michael addressed some observations I made related to paint splatters and even though some were from the previous owners Michael went above and beyond and cleaned up the brick. Michael clearly takes pride in his work and we will be using Michael in the near future for additional projects!"
