"I used AMR Service Group to install an EV charger which meant upgrading my wiring systems as well. They came to my house for a quote and were amazingly professional. They gave me some advice and told me in front that I may have one or 2 holes on my ceilings. They came back the week after to install everything. They did a great job in less than 3 hours. I had a quick question on the day after (which was a Sunday). I texted them and they called me back on Monday morning to tell me what to do. I can go on and on to talk about how great they are. I would recommend them for any electrical work at your house!!"

"I hired Jim to install appliances in my kitchen. He was immediately responsive to my request, arrived promptly, efficiently and competently completed the work at a very reasonable price, and was a great guy to boot. What's not love? Hire him now!!!"

"Assurance Appliance Repair was great. Alex and Mike not only showed up on time they were early. They explained the repair needed and set up a return date for service, again they were early and completed the repair as promised. I would recommend them anytime. As for cost you get what you pay for and I happily paid the bill. They were both knowledgeable and very respectful in helping me."

"Lenny diagnosed the source of failure of two major appliances, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. He carefully explained what parts were defective and came back with a colleague to repair the dishwasher. His analysis of the refrigerator problem prompted me to replace, not repair, the failing unit. His fee seemed reasonable to me, he was good about communicating when he would be able to arrive at my home, and he was reliable about coming when he said he would."

"Davidâ s a great guy! Easy to talk to, got straight to business. FAIR quote. Unlike other contractors he did not make up some absurdly stupid number and wait for me to negotiate. He gave me a good price right off bat and saved me all the bs negotiations. 10/10 recommend and I can promise Iâ ll be using his services whenever I need repairs or upgrades around the house!"

"I ended up not being able to get the parts. The whole thing wasn't really Rosedale's fault. They didn't fix the problem. It wasn't their fault. It was the manufacturer's issue. The people who came out weren't authorized dealers so they couldn't get the codes they needed to plug in so they weren't able to fix it. They tried but they weren't able to get it done. They came when they said they would. The folks seemed to know what they're doing."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Broomall, PA

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
