"First paint job in probably four DECADES, so you can imagine the massive prep involved.  This was not going to be your average power wash and paint job.  I picked five of the top-rated Angies list painting companies and received four estimates (Painting Pros decided there was going to be too much prep work and did not come out).  Of the four companies, Rick Davis (Four Seasons) was by far the most knowledgeable and experienced.  He noticed the areas that would need additional prep and repair that the others did not take into consideration. 
This house was a mishmash of peeling stucco and split sun-damaged cedar shakes.  The concrete patio and porch had been painted over in various colors and through the years had worn down to expose areas of all the colors.  Rick suggested a complete regimen of prep work, stuccoing, sanding, priming, caulking and sealing the cedar shakes, all using premium products.  Yes, he was the highest estimate, but he was honest and upfront about the amount of prep work this house was going to need.
From the second I gave my approval, things moved quickly and seamlessly.  I was introduced to the foreman and crew, who worked tirelessly and meticulously every day. They were always on time, had a definite game plan, everyone knew what to do, and they cleaned up every afternoon before they left.  Mind you, we had upwards of NINE guys for FIVE days!! No detail was overlooked; all I had to do was pick the colors and stay out of their way. I let them make all the decisions about what needed which color and I wouldn't change a thing. 
They finished the job yesterday, and the great care (especially sanding, taping and priming) really paid off.  This house went from an eyesore to a stunner in less than a week.  There were no "surprises" or last minute add-ons because Rick took the entire condition of the house into consideration BEFORE the job.  This is where you get what you pay for; dealing with Four Seasons was the most pleasant, professional, and timely experience ever.

"On September 03, 2011, I woke up, only to discover a flooded kitchen, from a leaking faucet under my sink. Out of hysteria, and quick thinking, I picked up the phone, and proceeded to call Forever Wood Construction Emergency Hotline. (916) 676-6610.  Within two rings, I was already speaking to a live representative. I gave them my address, and a quick overview of the scenario, and they were already on their way!!  The representative, also walked me through the procedure of turning my water off, through the phone.  About ten minutes later, Forever Wood Construction was already at my door step, with all the necessary tools on hand.  I am amazed to see such prompted service.  I proceeded to show them the water damage, and they thoroughly explained everything they were going to do, to prevent further damage, in an fashionably organized manner.  Within a half hour, I had my kitchen stripped down, and airing out  with their Huge Fans, and Dehumidifiers.  Forever Wood Construction Company, helped me to get all the necessary information for my Insurance company.  After the drying process, Clayton Witherow, Owner, presented a game plan, to ensure this would never happen again, and tips on different materials, they can use to increase the value of my home.  I went with the Travertine Stone Tiles, in which i love.  Forever Wood Construction had the kitchen done, with absolute quality results, in one day!!  I have never experienced a company with such great customer service, sense of urgency, and top quality results, as exceptional as I've experienced with Forever Wood Construction.  I will use them for any future construction job, whether it be an emergency job again, or not.  I will also refer Forever Wood Construction to all my family members, and friends.  I want to thank Forever Wood Construction, for making me feel comfortable in the situation at hand, and increasing the value of my home!!

"From the beginning (they did the interior of my house back in February/March), this company and all of it's staff (owners and employees alike) have been a joy to work with.  I originally purchased a Big Deal for the exterior work knowing that I would be paying more because of the extras.  Dominique was prompt in doing an initial walkthrough to determine my needs and getting me appropriate and detailed contracts with very reasonable pricing.  Due to finances and other obligations I had to put the exterior painting off until now but they were very accommodating and flexible in scheduling and held the line on the original estimate.  The only change was a last minute decision on my part to do the inside/outside of exterior entry doors.  Again, reasonable pricing for the work requested.

For this work, the owner Matt, "J" (Jason) and Sam started the work with Dorian joining them the next two days.  Dorian had worked on the interior painting so was familiar with my property and he was also the one to do the power washing several days earlier.  Having now met Matt and "chatted" with the others (including Dominique), I understand the pride that Matt and these guys have for his company and the work they do.  They were punctual, arriving before their scheduled time all three days.  They did a great job of prepping the outside, covering all windows, doors, light fixtures, plants and applying caulking wherever it was needed.  All paint was double coated either with the sprayer or by hand-painting.  At the start of each day Matt advised me of exactly what they were going to do that day - and then they did it.  Didn't mind me asking questions either.  Today Dorian returned and finished some trim work, did touch ups, removed window and light coverings and hauled everything (except the leftover paint) away.

Will I use this company again?  You betcha!!  My 86 year old Mom has indicated that she's thinking of having the outside of her house painted.  Guess who's going to get the job?  Kudos guys, and thanks for great jobs!!"
