"I was given a window between 1pm and 2pm for an estimate.  The guy showed up almost an hour late.  After determining what was leaking he went to home depot to get the replacement part.  I still had not been given an estimate.   <br /> He gets back and replaces the part maybe 45mins at home depot and 15 mins at my house, then has no idea what to charge me.  Here is where I realize I'm in trouble.  He waits about an hour to talk to his boss and see what the charge would be, so much for getting an estimate before hand.  He finally gets ahold of the guy then tells me its $185.  I asked him if that included the 10% angies list discount listed on angies list and he shrugs and says "uh, I think so", right.   <br /> So basically I feel like a dope for not demanding an estimate before he booked it out to the store, but still that's a little ridiculous.  I won't be using McDonah again. <br /> The work however was fine, he left it in better condition then it was. <br />"

Technician showed up on time for our initial consultantion/ appointment and was very knowledgable. Signed contract same day to get on the job list and have repair done before end of summer. <br /> Would use them again. Only company with warranty that will transfer to new owner that I talked with. <br />"

They need to be clear on what they are going to do and set it up properly. I had a problem there. I wasn't aware of actually everything physically they were doing. They did fix it and apologized.
