"Fred and his crew were nothing less than completely professional and highly skilled. I asked Fred to do two shower upgrades to my 1966 home, one was a tub to a shower buildout and the other was a plastic insert to a nice tile and rock shower. There was pretty bad rot damage in the plastic insert shower but Fred and his crew took care of the situation with no issues. Ultimately the wife and I changed our minds on a few things and asked Fred and his crew to do more then was originally asked for, they rolled with the added work and completed the work efficiently and to an extremely high level. I could go on and on but I think the proof is in the pudding as I am asking Frederick James Construction to rebuild my deck, along with a few other projects. He showed up on time, every day, and took painstaking care to do the siding and painting job as if it was his own home. On any given day, Paul could be seen on a ladder or the scaffolding, and even with a paint brush in hand. I recently left the union as a journeyman carpenter and superintendent. I built custom homes in my 20’s after graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Before college I worked in all phases of construction from concrete and framing to finish work. I have a well rounded understanding of building and am passionate about what I do and the quality of work I provide. In my personal life I am led by Jesus. I enjoy running several times a week and working out in my home gym. My goals are to provide value to my clients and give back to my community.

It was a spectacular experience!  Honestly. The guys were all great.  (The people they organized to come in for heating and electrical services were also phenomenal!)   Professional, courteous and punctual-the whole lot!  They did a fair estimate of costs to include all necessary services.  It was great to write only one cheque and have Harry sort all the finite details. Harry was able to discuss projects and assist me in the basic design and building plans I had hoped for, in order to bring them to fruition in a manner to best accommodate our space and within budget.  Harry was honest and fair and ensured he and his amazing crew did everything to finish the projects to exceed our expectations.  They absolutely did!

   The pricing they gave I marked as a "B".  I would like to clarify.  Harry was a bit more expensive than some.  He was way more expensive than a couple and pretty even with a few estimates we received prior to signing a contract with him.  We stuck to hiring Harry because 1. he is an honest and straightforward guy. YOu will see that from the start. 2. He showed up and he returned calls and he was punctual in giving estimates and answering questions I needed prior to spending that much money. 3.He was upfront. He wanted to make sure you had complete understanding and happiness with the process before it began...and always answered questions along the way to continue to ensure that happiness.  He let you know his expectations for his crew on the job to ensure our happiness and he let us know what he expected to ensure a smooth start to a job and a smooth finish.  Everything was upfront and out in the open.  4. He and his crew SHOWED UP.   The bottom line is that, though I would have been happy to pay less, I am not sure the quality would have been there with other companies...you really DO get what you pay for.  We will always use H Wallace Construction.  We are so thankful to have found them.

    We have some new projects we are starting, soon.  Cant wait to book Harry and the guys for these.
