"Let me start off by saying wow. This is one family oriented company. you wouldn't think that by how large they are all over the united states. I had a main sewer line in my basement leaking at 4am, i called roto rooter at 5 and they had a tech there by 6:30 drove almost an hour for an emergency! that is dedication. HIs name was Cam (i hope i spelled your name right!). He fought it for almost 2 hours. we weren't making any progress so he wanted to call in a more experienced tech, his name was Joe, what a beard man! Joe showed up within an hour, cam left so he could get to his next appointment he apologized that he couldn't get it done because the drain just didn't want to cooperate. Joe immediately went to work with his drain snake, to no avail he couldn't figure it out, Joe busted out the jetter. At the end of this story we found out it was a city side sewer main back up. I wish i had more space to write. these guys are pooper hero's, Don't know how they do it everyday. ButThankyou "

"We recently had Hart Masonry and Waterproofing replace our foundation and waterproof the basement. The entire process was easy and Brandon and his crew were phenomenal! We had multiple companies out to quote the repair (big name companies that you see advertising everywhere). They all wanted to put band-aids on the problem, Hart Masonry was the only company that wanted to get to the heart of the issue and fix the entire basement so the foundation would be good for life. Most of the digging was done entirely by hand and the repair took 3 days less than originally expected which was a nice surprise. They were polite, efficient, willing to work around our schedule, and cleaned up after the work was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Hart Masonry and Waterproofing to anyone that has basement structural or water issues."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Brunswick, OH

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
