"Gerry is terrific! He remodeled 2 bathrooms for us in our previous home and 1 so far (2 more to go) in our current home. He worked within our budget for each project and the work was exceptional. He is on time, clean and fairly priced. We are a busy household with 2 dogs and the projects were done quickly and did not drag on forever! He keeps you in the loop constantly and works out issues with you as they arise and never assumed anything. Gerry has also done floor work and wood work on other projects in our homes. "From start to finish we are very pleased with the Basic Bathroom Company which is part of The Basic Basement Company. We were given an estimate the day the salesman arrived and we paid what the estimate stated. They did not try to increase the cost. We did add a small linen closet to our first bathroom project so we paid an extra amount for that, but otherwise the price was what was quoted. The installer did excellent work, so good in fact, that we requested him for the second bathroom. Everyone was so helpful and punctual and they cleaned up when finished. The responsiveness is outstanding! We now have two beautiful new bathrooms thanks to the great people at The Basic Basement Company! I highly recommend them!"

He provided design and reconfigure consultation that we were expecting to use a separate designer and/or architect for. His past work speaks for itself and he has a tremendous amount of experience and examples to pull from to offer suggestions that aligned with our tastes just from speaking through the project with him. Dan is extremely professional and courteous and maintained impeccable cleanliness and constant communication throughout the job. In addition to his promoted services, Dan is skilled in all areas of home improvement and completed some other handyman services throughout the project. I highly recommend him for any project. "Wally impressed us right away because of how thorough his free estimate was; he had measured everything exactly, and was very specific in his recommendations, and the cost. He respected us and our smaller space, although he had much larger projects. He is a good communicator, and was tolerant when we changed our minds. He provided a list of stores nearby to find samples, choose granite, vanities, etc. Wally was skilled in getting permits and everything went smoothly. He followed the rules set by our condo management company. When the manager allowed only 3 hours of "water off", he enlisted 4 plumbers to scramble and get it done in that time! If a problem arose he communicated right away. He did more than specified, out of his generous good will. For instance, he sent his painter when we'd agreed to paint ourselves. Most of the job was finished before the Covid stay-in-place hit. When we had dishwasher problem during that time, he sent his plumber over to fix it. Soon after he was able to return, Wally came back and completed the few things remaining. Wally's men were friendly and competent and spoke well of him; Wally usually arrived with them and made sure everything was in order. Because Wally is in demand, he may not begin right away after the agreement is signed. It is good to ask an approximate date of beginning. In summary, we were very pleased with the work done on the bathrooms and kitchen. Wally is experienced, honest and dependable - an excellent communicator, & an expert in his field."
