"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. "Very courteous, friendly, and professional staff... highly service-oriented.  Did an excellent job replacing all windows, including outside finishing.  The owner worked hard to make special supplier arrangements in order to custom-match our interior color scheme.  Owner also did extra work in dealing with the materials vendor - who was not his usual supplier - when that vendor initially sent wrong-sized windows (supplier's error).  The installation crew did a good job of clean-up following actual installation.  Our only recommendation for improvement would be to ensure more timely follow-up; on several occasions, we had to initiate scheduling and/or status reporting from our end.  But that said, it's clear that customer service and excellent workmanship at fair pricing are top priorities for this company.

They did the work really timely, and we didn't have problems with them coming out and fixing the furnace and the air conditioner. They also called to see if we needed other things needed around the house, but we didn't. Everything was done really fast, and they needed different people to do the roof, because of the shape of the roof. I have a friend of mine who also had 2 or 3 of theirs put in."
