"They were hired to some work on my grandfather's chimney. While on the roof they knocked off several shingles. They denied that they caused the damage. They said they have proof and offered to send the photos but have yet to receive them. Now they are refusing to answer my calls. My uncle went on the roof to look at the damage and there work. The work on the chimney was very pore quality. We ended up having to hire someone else to fix the damage that they caused. I would not recommend using them ever."

"Gunner Roofing We used Gunner to replace shingles. They told us that if we upgraded the skylight to one that is solar powered we would get a tax credit of 30% of the entire job, a savings of over $2000. We weren't planning to replace the skylight but the numbers made sense. When we filed our taxes for that year we learned that the skylight they used did NOT qualify for the tax credit. They mislead us to spending an extra $2,500 on the job. When I called to complain I left a message but no one ever returned my call. This is after they didn't do a good job on the roof and it took them months to come back and fix the leaks they caused. STAY AWAY!! Show less"

"1/31/2024 We had 7 feet of snow in the middle of the month here in West Seneca An unfortunate consequense of that was that the melting snow on the roof turned into VERY heavy icicles and when they came down, they took down the gutter system that Black Rock installed in 2021. I called Black Rock to see if it could be replaced and to have the roof examined. They got out here "same day" and replaced the gutter the very next day. Not only swift service, but professionally done. And the guys were Super friendly. Highly recommend Black Rock Roofing. Andrew Ryan"

"I had a gutter that was leaking due to a problem with my roof (not extended far enough over the gutter). I called Tri-Town because I have used them in the past for various projects - they came out and repaired it quickly and for a very reasonable fee. No more leaking - yay!!"

"No insurance? Mistakes happen, what determines if you are a reliable company is how you deal with rectifying those mistakes! And Zenner & Ritter is a nightmare, and we are likely heading to court. I'll try to keep it short, but succinct! Z&R serviced my faithful generator in August of 2018. In late February 2019, we had that awful windstorm in the Buffalo area. We lost power at night, and the generator started as it always has. I woke up in the morning, and the generator was no longer running while the power was still out. I went to the basement to check up on the sump pump, which was not running, but the water had not gone out of the sump pit (yet). I immediately called the 24-hour service line of Z&R, which is a complete joke with no prompt return call. By the time the service technician arrived, there was 1+ foot of water in the basement. The reason the generator stopped working? The service tech in August forgot to put the cap back on the oil reservoir after servicing the generator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The result was my recently finished basement flooded with $15,000 in damages. That's a problem! Generac (manufacturer of the generator) confirmed it was a technician error. As soon as Brian Ritter realized the extent of the damage and the cause of the loss, he ghosted me. I had to hire a lawyer to get any response from Z&R, and their lawyer is making me jump through all sorts of ridiculous hoops. Presumably, in the hopes that I will drop this and they don't have to payout. This situation could have been quickly resolved if they had just filed a claim with their insurance company. Still, they seem to be unwilling to share who is their insurance company or policy. It makes me doubt whether they are insured. Next step? I'm preparing to file in court in January. Pictures of the generator available to anyone who would like to see them."

"I hired Ron to repair my chimney and I was very pleased. He was timely, communicative and very respectful of my property and the price seemed reasonable. I am still waiting on some roofing repairs that needed to be done by another company, but since the recent rains have not resulted in continued leaks I am hopeful the chimney was the primary issue and Ron's promptness at completing the job has really relieved my stress!"
