After our first conversation, the scope quickly grew into a much larger project that included a complete mudroom remodel, creating a new laundry room, updating our powder room, replacing carpet in two rooms with hardwood flooring, and refinishing all of the hardwood floors on our first floor. Were there a few hiccups along the way? Of course—every renovation has them. What truly stood out was how Cesar and his team handled every challenge. They addressed issues quickly, communicated openly, and always kept us informed of the plan moving forward. "Paul did an excellent job.  He and his team arrived on time, every single day of the two week project.  The work was done in a professional manner and his team was willing to answer questions/did not mind me looking over their shoulders.  Throughout the process he was straight forward and honest - for example, there were some concerns regarding the strength of the sub floor. However, once the room was gutted, he happily informed me that the guts of the room were in great condition!
I also noted that Paul consistently demonstrated good judgment - he wanted to make sure the job was done right.  So when the window supplier provided a window that Paul didn't think would fit, he replaced the glass blocks over the top to make sure there was a good fit in the window opening.  After the job was done, Paul made sure to educate me on good ways to make the trim look good.
Paul was also very responsive; after the job was done, the doors seemed to shift a tiny bit, but enough that they started to stick.  He came back the next work day and fixed everything.  Overall, it was a great experience,

"We hired Quintessential Renovations to remodel an old, run-down basement in a 100 year old house. Alex impressed us right away with his ideas for the project. It wasn't just us telling him what we wanted, but rather Alex actively building on our ideas and suggesting options. Quintessential was the second highest of four bids but we went with them because Alex conveyed to us, more than any other bidder, that he would have sufficient attention to detail and deliver a fully finished look. We also had an issue with the supply of new custom windows that dragged out for many months, but in the end Alex was (finally) able to find a suitable supplier on the third try and the windows look great. "We hired Cosmic to redo our upstairs, secondary bathroom. They were wonderful from the consultation to the finish date. The team is punctual, respectful, skilled and efficient. Demo day was fun to watch, as the whole crew comes in and within what felt like two hours had it down to the drywall/studs. They haul away all debris, which was nice not to have a dumpster for this project. Communication is awesome with the team also, and always checked in with the design and layout before making final moves. Wonderful and have used them for 3 projects and will use them for any projects in the future!"
