His bid was competitive but not the lowest -- I've made the mistake in the past of just going with the lowest bidder. This company, M&M, is large enough to be reliable and accountable. Their parent company, also called M&M, is based in Houston but I dealt only with the Austin organization. The crew of 3 finished in 3 1/2 days, an approach I prefer because the quality of workmanship is noticeably more even with a smaller crew. Bob and his area supervisor Dan communicate well, offer good advice, and follow through on promises. I recommend them to family and friends without reservation, and I would use them again."

"Kudos to CV Roofing, Tom Dragoo, and team! They truly provide exceptional service. After a moderately hard rain, we discovered water damage around a recessed light in the entry of our new home. This is an area where the metal roof comes together at many odd angles. We were very anxious as more heavy rain was expected within the week. Adding to our concern was the possibility of supply chain issues we'd read so much about. Tom Dragoo responded quickly and understood our sense of urgency. He assessed the issue, assured the materials needed were readily available, and scheduled his team; Who, btw, were remarkably punctual. And for contractors, that's saying something! We really appreciated the care Tom took to educate us on metal roofs, i.e. while metal roofs can indeed last 30+ years, the rubber grommets in Central Texas heat, do not. "Excellent. Their marketing person spent about 6 hours at my home inspecting/photographing the existing roof condition from the outside and inside the attic, explaining their product, the warranty, and the installation process. The materials were delivered the day before the installation. The 5-man installation crew showed up the next day as scheduled, including a truck-mounted trash bin. 8 hours later I had a new asphalt tile roof with new plywood wood base, liner and edge-to-peak ventilation system. The post install cleanup was thorough, including a magnet sweep for nails. The crew members were cordial, careful and thoroughly professional. They had obviously knew what they were doing and had worked together before. I am thoroughly impressed with the installation and the product."

"Jeff was great. We had two other roofing companies make repairs on a leak, and it was not fixed by them. When Jeff came out, he was able to spot a possible problem area right away. The person who did the actual repairs was very thorough. He did find an issue and corrected that problem, did an overall check of the rest of the roof, and corrected some other areas. We agreed to move forward back in February understanding it would take about 8 weeks for delivery of the custom windows. The new windows?arrived the last week in April and we scheduled installation for 5/3. ?The crew arrived on time, carefully covered the floor and all furniture in the work area and completed the installation in about 6 hours. They even took time to touch up some of the exterior paint as they worked. ?By the end of the day we had new windows and you would not have known they had ever been here.? Within 24 hours I had a call from management checking to make sure i was pleased with the installation and to ask if I had any questions and/or issues. "They showed up on time & did extra work at no charge as they replaced needed shingles - they noticed a bit of soft decking around our chimney when they were replacing the flashing and replaced a part of the decking while they were there. They could not find a match for the ridge vent shingles, so replaced all of the shingles instead of a few... Completely cleaned up when they left. They were able to match the roof shingles pretty well - almost an invisible patch..."
