When they left each day, Gage was sure to say what time they would return the next day. They called each day to say they were on their way, and showed up sooner than their expected arrival. "Unexpected delays; job is not complete yet. No Problems. After old cabinet and wall removal, we had an inspection and got a surprise. The inspector requested we remove all drywall from ceilings in 2 rooms, kitchen and adjoining room (not in the Plan!). Bruce was patient explaining what was next, why the extra work and cost had to be, and the impact it would have on his timeline. He was very fair and made us feel confident about the project, though the whole ordeal was a stressful thing to deal with. All of this has set our finish date back. Which gives me the chance to do another review. I intend to post a before and after photo if allowed. Bruce has given us fair pricing and is thorough in answering all of our questions. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and methodical. He's always patient, even with all of our change orders! I definitely want to hire him for other custom projects down the road. Photos included are original kitchen and pass-through that was removed. Tear out was ugly, so here's an up- to-date pic from today."

"From start to finish I could not be happier.   I had an idea (a rough idea) of what I wanted to do.    Dan sat with me (listened with patience) and helped me work through the details of my project, he talked to me about what was important and what was not... after he helped me design the building and details that went along with it.    Along the way he worked with me to make adjustments to the design, as well as offered ideas and solutions to reduce my cost (he saved me about 15%).   There were things I didn't think about when I put my plans in place, Dan communicated with me along the way allowing me to think through the changes as well as the pros/cons of doing so.   There were changes we made along the way that make a lot of sense now that the building is complete.   Amazing work!!! <br /> To find a builder who can complete the work start to finish, stay true to his commitments, and more importantly listen to you is not easy to find.   Dan fits this mold. <br /> I have worked with at least 10 builders in the last 20 years...   this is the first review I have written.   The reason I am writing this review is Dan did an awesome job!    From start to finish communication was great, the work was awesome, and the price was right.    With 100% confidence I would recommend Dan and Patriot Builders to take on a small project to building a high end 6,000 sq foot home.   I am attaching my personal cell phone if you would like to personally talk to me - Frank (913) 461-7217  I will be more then happy to show you the work he did. <br /> Dan, thank you!   Its nice to work with folks who get stuff done! <br />"

"Very good job. Cleaned up after themselves better than many other folks who make a mess doing jobs. Nice and friendly people. Good quality control by Phil. Covered everything so it wouldn't get dust or paint on it. When sanding they covered the entrances so that the dust wouldn't go into the other rooms. My wife thought it was cool that Phil sent a thank-you note for the business that had the same color as the paint they put on the walls."

"Architectural Resource was outstanding from start to finish.  They began with an extensive questionnaire in order to identify my needs, followed by a series of meetings, both in person and on the telephone.  They were wonderful in explaining how individuals interact with the space in their homes over time.  They were also excellent in explaining architectural concepts in layman's terms.  Throughout the process they were flexible and responsive, even though I asked them to work with my own builder and designer with whom they had not worked before.  I thought that the result achieved all of my goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.  In addition, my home is very energy efficient and tight, thanks to their attention to these issues.  I would definitely use them again for any changes to my home.  <br />"
