We were thinking about having our previous deck reskinned, since it seemed quite sturdy, but the previous composite decking had failed. The cost to rebuild was not considerably more than the reskin cost, plus with the rebuild, we have a lifetime warranty. Our new deck is very well constructed, solid and looks great! "Hired J Thomas Construction owned by Jason Walden for two additional projects and fully paid him after he completed a bigger project of a covered porch replacement. After payment for the two additional jobs was received he started dodging me, never calling me back or even texting me. This lasted a year so I took him to court and won my case and he owes me over 5k. Now he is no where to be found. I wouldnt ever hire him. He has no ethics, doesnt care about who he hurts, nor what he puts people through. I hope he does the honorable and right thing."
