"They came to pick up carpets same day, brought back a week later. And less then original quote! I would highly recommend them."

"Fabulous! The showroom service is excellent - lots of options to choose from. I was able to take good-sized samples home to see how they looked in my kitchen. The installation was amazing! I had purchased an undermount sink and was a bit worried how the corners would match up. It is perfect. The fit and finish are superb and the cost was about the same as a big box store. Totally satisfied with my experience!
"

"I couldn't be happier with the carpets they installed.
From the time I walked into their store (which was 10 minutes before their closing hours - sorry about that) I was treated like a real person. I felt like I had plenty of choices to consider and no pressure at all.
I was allowed to take home a sample case of fabrics, and didn't meet any resistance when I asked if the carpets can get aired out prior to installation.
I was thrilled that he could meet my exact timeline too.
The actual install of the three carpets went flawlessly. I wasn't there to see it happen but my wife said that they were on time and very friendly.
I am positive that they beat the price quotes I had received at Home Depot and Lowes. And I know if I ever have any questions or issues with warranty that they would be right there to help.
"

"The order was seemless. They didn't try to selI me any thing I didn't want, up sell me or make me feel I should buy the more expensive padding or I'd be sorry. I really appreciated that. I was able to get a 18 month zero interest deal with my lowes card.
The measure apointment went well, the contractor who came out was very friendly and professional.
I opted to remove my carpet myself to save the removal and disposal fee. It only cost me $20 to throw away at my transfer station as apposed to $175 for them to do it.
When the carpet came in I was promptly contacted by the installers, they made an appointment that was convenient for me.On the day of the installation, since the contractors have to pick the carpeting up at lowes that morning, install couldn't start before lowes opened. However I was able to go to work and make arrangements where they called me once I was on the way, and I met them there. The installation guys were very professional and friendly, I worked from home while they did the installation. It was completed by noon. It looked great and they took care to make sure I examined every thing and was happy with it.
A month later i'm very happy with the carpet's durability and quality.
I gave them a B for over all for 1 reason which couldn't be helped. I ended up with a fair amount of extra carpet, which I had to pay for. I told the measure guy that in my long walk in closet I'd be happy to have multiple seams, if it meant keeping down the square footage, he said he'd do what he could. The 20 year old carpet I pulled out had 4 seams in the closet. They were concerned with doing it right and doing a professional job, even in the closet! Hence I ended up with extra square footage and no seams. This speaks well of the installation company and lowes.SO its hard to fault them for doing it the correct way! How ever I would have been happy to sign any kind of waver for my closet to save me $!80 bucks. In un used carpeting. The sales rep at lowes even tried to call the carpet company to see if they would buy the remnants back but they were in 4 pieces and not one big piece. Lowes tried to help out but its just how it came together.
I'm very happy with the Lowes flooring experience and would be happy to recommend them and have done so to my friends and co-workers!"

"Initially, I was happy with the job. The problems came after it was done. When they finished the bathroom the installers were off to another job and I was left to do the finale washing off of the grout residue. I was fine with that. It was easy enough to do. When the tile was cleaned I noticed the cut in the Carrera curb on the shower stall did not line up exactly where the two ends meet. One side was a little short. It had been filled in with grout. Unfortunately, the grout didn't stay. Also, some material used on the shower walls had gotten on the bathroom ceiling. (The bathroom ceiling had already been primed and painted.) When I tried to paint over it the paint just bubbled. I called Paul and his only suggestion was to paint over it which I had already tried. I told him this. I ended up having to mud the ceiling, sand, and then paint it again. No follow up to see if I was able to take care of it. Within months some of the grout in the shower floor around the drain started cracking and coming up. Given the lack of interest in helping resolve the ceiling issue I didn't bother contacting Port City again."

"Ultimately, we found a carpet that Tim was not able to supply and we selected another vendor. That said, we would definitely work with Tim in the future. Even when I told him we had selected someone else to do the work, he researched the carpet selection we made and gave us his honest opinion, which I appreciated.
"

"I had two different experiences with Rye Floor Fashions. I very much enjoyed speaking with Dante about options as well as Cheryl to stain match and product match- they both seemed very knowledgable. However, when it came to install (Dante did not do the install), I was somewhat disappointed with the work. I am not sure if it was the installers or the finisher (because I reused my molding) but my walls were beat up and the new floors had scratches and gouges in them. The stain was also somewhat uneven (you can't notice with furniture in the room so it is not such a big deal). Chico did come out and fix some of the scratches and he did a good job. I had the floors put in this April and now that it is July, they are cupping a bit (once a gain, just slightly). The other thing is they left cigarette butts and empty cups on my lawn- just not very professional and I have asthma so the smell of cigarette smoke bothers me.
"
