"Maria showed up for estimate within a day of contacting company . She had the estimate emailed to me the very next day . Within 2 days I gave her a deposit and 2 weeks later fence was installed . Met with Julio to go over over everything with him and Maria and they got started . Took 2 days to dig all footing with cement and install fence . It came out so great . I plan on using them next year to put a partial fence in front and side of my property . I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for fencing . The quality of the fence they use looks and feels way stronger then what I saw at stores too."

"They responded to my inquiry on Angie the same day. Made an appointment to look at job. Alan showed up on time, listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, took measurements and walked old fence through woods, brush, brambles and up/ down hill. Sent quote the next day. Price was very reasonable. Agreed to the job and set date for work. They showed up on time, worked efficiently clearing all the brush, brambles and downed trees along fence line. Then installed new fence. Were done by late afternoon. Fence looks great and now my older dog and new puppy can freely romp off leash without me worrying where they are. Highly recommend this outfit. Very impressed with their timely response and showing up when they said. "

"York Fence is definitely a professional organization when it comes to customer service, installation and appearance. Their crew was prompt, organized and very methodical when it came to the installation itself. They cleaned up everything afterwards. Literally, there was nothing to be of concern about when this was over. More importantly, we achieved what we were looking for....privacy. I can't say enough good things about York Fence. Definitely a first class company who treats their customers right."

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Butler, NJ

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
