"I truly cannot say enough about Roman and how professional these guys were. My roof was a real end-of-life eyesore (as we were fairly aware of when purchasing our home). The excellent work they did to replace it will literally influence any future aesthetic updates I plan to make on my home. Their work is quite a game changer, to say the least! Prior to installing my roof, they also did some patch work on it towards the end of 2018 to fix some risky areas to hold things over through the winter. At this same time, my fiance unexpectedly lost a parent and Jon (one of the technicians) was kind enough to still do the work in my absence while being 100% respectful of the situation. They kept me fully at ease and updated during a personality turbulent time. Along with the fair pricing, this kind of professionalism is why I chose Empire. As for the roof replacement, not only was it done at a very competitive price, but the entire crew was extremely efficient in that they completed the whole job in two days! On top of that, they cleaned up the job so well that you would have never even known they were here. At times it was I did not always hear back right away, which was understandable as many home contractors have had a slew of unpredictable factors to deal with this year, including weather. Regardless, Roman would always get back to us and apologize for any delay. All of that said, Empire will be my go-to in the future!"

"Mike took the time to explain to me the work he would do; no question on my part was too much. I had a big concern about the mismatched slate on my roof. Because of the age of the roof and the natural fading that has taken placed, I questioned finding the right Vermont slate. Mike assured me that he could match my Vermont slate, and he did. I now have a uniform colored roof. Mike and Chris were on time and worked in a very professional manner. In addition, as he and Chris did the work, when he saw something else that needed a bit of attention, they took care of it. In all 37+ slates were addressed. Mike will be the person I call to maintain my roof."

"The take away: Impressive! I'd hire him again without any hesitation and will recommend him to anyone who needs plaster work done. I had several areas in my house that needed plaster repaired from a roof leak and from a plumbing drain stack replacement. Other companies wouldn't take on the job or wanted $6K to $8K and a week to do it. Robert came in, took a quick look and some pictures and quoted me at $1,700 and could do it all in one day! Sounded too good to be true, but with all the good reviews he has, I hired him. He wasn't booked up, so I hired him on Monday and he scheduled the work Thursday and then finished everything in a half day. I think everything is done extremely well! The new plaster blends right into the old plaster. And that's the thing - it's plaster. He's able to do it in one day because he puts up sheet rock and plasters over it rather than putting up drywall and putting layers and layers of joint compound on the seams, which requires time to dry, then sanding, repeat. With plaster, you put it on once, smooth it out, let it dry and it's done, and frankly looks better that way. Anyway, I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about the experience and highly recommend Robert!"

"Firstly, this review is two years after the fact because both spouses thought that the other spouse had posted a review! (I know!...our apologies!) More importantly, this is a first-rate company with high standards for both their work and their employees!! We will definitely return to this company for any future work we require. Workers were always punctual, good-natured, and respectful of our property. The project was a tear-off of a porch tar roof and replace with metal roofing. Also, the second-floor surrounding wood shakes were replaced with siding that resembled wood shakes. Rotted wood soffit was replaced, painted and matched to existing soffit. A spotlight was replaced in that same area. The leaking roof had brought down plaster inside the house; the ceiling was patched and painted to match the existing ceiling. Two years later and the work looks great with no problems. Again, will definitely return to this company in future."

The roof was done in 6 hours. Removal and replace. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know or hear of that need a roof!"

"It went well. Painting was done well with no spills or messes. Touch-ups to plaster at times needed to be smoother.  However, once this was pointed out, touch-up was improved. Price was fair and Rick worked hard to get the job, met the lowest estimate of five others.
