"Steve was easy to talk to and very honest/straight forward regarding his opinion on custom cabinets and whether or not they are actually worth the money (especially since our intentions are to sell our home in the next three years). He gave some very helpful suggestions on options we might consider to keep the price down. I'm very grateful I took the time to call him before signing a contract at Lowe's."

"I had some issues requiring termite, and they applied orange oil--a very pleasant odor, and I didn't have to move myself, my pet, and food from the house (as with previous years-ago tenting). There was a problem with their subsequent repair work done to the wood, and I asked Dan Haakma, their wood repair specialist, to stop by to ensure the workers took care of everything. Unfortunately, much of the work was not done correctly. I was delighted to see that, instead of discovering this and then rescheduling the work, Dan stayed another 4 hours to complete the work himself--and done beautifully."

"From the first meeting with Eric until the job was complete I was impress with the
professionalism and integrity of this gentleman.
Eric always showed up per our appointments, and returned phone calls almost immediately.
I was in awe of his installer who made perfect cuts, and hung all of the window treatments perfectly the first time.
My home was built in 1928, so it was a challenge to make treatments that went around windows that were odd shapes,
Eric designed the treatments so that they never changed the look of the windows and fit seamlessly.
We have been thinking about and quot;going solarand quot; with our home, and would not hesitate using Eric's company
who also does solar work."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in California City, CA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
