"Discovered Atlantic Gutters through Angi (formerly known as AngiesList). Had them quote removal of all gutters and put up new seamless gutters, including gutter guards and drip-edge and new downspouts. Needed about 20 feet of rotted fascia replaced also. I initially had an scheduled date for the work, but due to timing issues the company was quick to call and reschedule the appointment for work in a very reasonable time. All told the project cost ~$4000. I feel it was well worth it, shouldn't have to worry about gutters or any issues arising from them for 15 years or more! :D"

"You may be reading this because hiring contractors to do work you know little about is a bit anxiety provoking and can result in some unpleasant results. Even though I have a background in engineering and construction, I moved forward with vinyl siding my home with some trepidation. My wife and I did some research and through a friend’s recommendation hired RJ Scalzi and Sons. The work scope included replacing fascia boards, rake boards, gutters, shutters and downspouts and installing vinyl siding. Jason and Matt showed up on time, and it very soon became clear that they were extremely skilled at their craft. Through every step of the project, they took measures to minimize inconveniencing us, including location of work vehicles and work benches, preventing damage to lawn, shrubs and trees, securing artwork on walls and shelves to prevent damage, communicating updates on schedule and timelines and maintaining a neat work area. Not only did it appear that Jason and Matt were talented, but it was also obvious that they have honed an extremely efficient team that executes work safely, quickly and with the highest quality. Two minor unexpected and out of work scope problems arose during the project that instead of dropping on my lap, as they rightfully could have, they took action and got resolved. Over the days Jason and Matt worked on our home, we were constantly impressed with the quality and efficiency of their work. A major plus was the professional, considerate and friendly demeanor both young men exhibited throughout the project. We enjoyed listening to their good natured banter, that didn’t slow them down one bit, and interacting with them. The completed project looks great and met all of our requirements, a neighbor even stopped by and asked for an estimate. Jason and Matt’s ability to combine high quality efficient work with very winning personal ways made the vinyl siding of our house a great experience and this may sound strange, but it was fun to have them around. "I hired Eric to clean my new property's gutters last summer. He was friendly and thorough in all he did. He was honest with me when he discovered that the gutters were in dangerous disrepair, and some of them installed incorrectly. (I have been discovering my house's many quirks since purchase so this was not a surprise.) Eric suggested some options and I booked him to do a full repair job for a few months later. The repair job took several days as expected, and the whole time Eric kept me updated on his progress and any new problem areas he came across. He went above and beyond adding patches on places we had identified as leak spots, replacing a roofing tile, and stabilizing my balcony after removing the gutters from it, and he was kind enough to not bill me extra for it. He even managed to clean and repair the gutters on my garage, which is not the easiest to access! I was so impressed with his work. The repairs look great and have eliminated 2 interior leaks. "The salesman indicated that they would replace rotted wood; however, the installers did not replace any wood. The installers were on time, did their work quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. The cost was, however, several times greater than the closest estimate. The product looks good, and the wood behind the gutters was wrapped in a metal-type siding, so it should be protected from contact with water. Overall, I am pleased, but no one appreciates being lied to."
