"I woke up Monday morning and found out I had no water in the house. went and check the pump and saw I had no pressure and pump was not turning on. called David Jackson Plumbing  around n10am and was given an appointment time of 12-2pm. Was not even 20 min and received a call asking if it was ok for them to come out. Once here they were very Professional by checking everything out. They asked permission before entering the house to check the breaker box. after checking everything out  found out just the switch was bad and needed to be replace. with not knowing much about well pumps, they could have just told me I needed to replaced everything, but they did not do that. They did tell me it would need to be replaced sometime next year more than likely, but not necessary today. I was very happy with them and would recommend their services to anyone who needs a honest and reliable plumber.   <br />"

"Faucet repairs for the bathroom that was not easy to remove, because when it was installed , its just that the installation was to tight, but they were able to fix that & it is working great. For the kitchen faucet was just needed somr repairs & sealant application & they also did a great job on that. replaced the faucet for the tub as well because they were very old & inside was corroded & there was too much build up, so they also replaced the faucet for the tub. They were very good people. They had to come back, there were polite good people to talk to and its very nice to work with people like them"

"First I would like to say that everyone I dealt with at ICSR was great! From Erika who made the appointments to Jeremiah who did the inspection, to Terry and his crew. They were all friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Jeremiah explained in detail what needed done in my crawlspace. There was a lot of damage due to termites in the past. I knew this was what needed done as I had another Company look at it as well. They backed out because they thought the crawlspace was to narrow to get the work done. I agreed to Jeremiah's plan and about two weeks later Larry and his crew came out to do the work. I will say it again, Larry and his crew were great. They worked so hard and in horrible heat and humidity. They were always friendly and smiled when I saw them. Larry always let me know what they got done that day, and what the plan was for the next. They cleaned up the work area, and took away any and all debris. I have full faith in ICSR and Larry and his crew that the repairs were done right. I am so glad the plan with the other company fell through, as I think I ended up with the best!"

"Mike Craw came with someone he was training.  They arrived on time, took up the toilet, replaced the wax seal, and then raised and leveled the toilet.  Our pipes are old so he explained that eventually the pipes would probably have to be replace because of corrosion but that it could wait.  He then cleaned out the main drain from the toilet which greatly improved the flushing capacity.  I would definitely use Craw Plumbing again."

"Excellent service. Prompt reply to email request for on site estimate and prompt visit to home for measuring and discussion on type of fencing best for the property. The weather did not cooperate on starting the job, but as soon as weather permitted work began and it only took two days. The old fence and posts were removed and new posts installed on day one and new four-foot link was installed with re enforcement along the bottom keeping the escape artist dog safely confined. The results are great. All trash and scraps were removed. Not only does the property look good the quality of the materials and work is excellent. The crew and Mr. Gonzalez were professional and respectful and the owner was on premises each day for the duration of the job. This company does construction from a new build to small jobs. I know when I need anything else done, I will call them first. <br />"

"Trying to find a handyman in the Muncie, IN area is a real drag. I was desperate for someone originally to put to put a desk together for me. Thankfully, I found All Things Done. He put my desk together in no time and I asked him what other services he does and when I found out he did painting and plumbing I hired him for those jobs too. He installed a garbage disposal and painted. Troy Baine's company All Things Done is a delight to deal with. He assessed what I needed and gave me straightforward answers to all my questions. He is friendly, respectful and trustworthy. More importantly, the work he did was of top quality. Fast service. I recommend him highly for anyone in the Muncie area looking for someone who is reliable and competent and PROFESSIONAL. Yes, I am very happy. If you need a general contractor contact him."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Cambridge City, IN

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
