"Promptness was my major complaint. Pennington would say he would make it by the weekend, for example, to pick up the tub, and never show or call. It took many calls and reminders before connections were made. This went on multiple times throughout the course of the project. On the plus side, he had a cell, and would almost always pick up when I called, so at least I could touch base. After he took the tub, he said he should have it back in about two weeks. It was probably closer to two months. But apart from that, his price was lower than anyone else's I called. And from what I can tell, he did a good job. The tub looks good -- especially considering what he started with. He had to take off a layer of paint that someone had put on the inside of the tub, and the outer surface was unfinished and rough. Although if I had it to do over again I might ask how much extra to put enamel on the outside surface as well, instead of the dull white coating that was put on. Pennington made no complaints or extra charges for taking the tub up the steps, which was a challenge. And the capper -- once they brought the tub back, his son and helper insisted on putting on the new hardware I had to hook up to the drain for no charge. Even when I couldn't find all the pieces, they went to their truck and used their own hardware to finish the job."

"We met Chris and Caleb with an inch of water on the floor and a lot of frustration. They first got the 1yr old sump running again to drain the water down. Then the diagnosed the issue with the failed pump and replaced it quickly for approx $500. We discussed the backup system at the time but I honestly couldn't impulse that much and I wanted to review options. Waited 5 weeks and reviewed other options only to came back to the professional solution offered. Also realized the quote (under $2K) was actually very reasonable for the dual battery complete backup we had installed .. more of an investment than a bandage."

"I think it was fine. Actually, my wife coordinated that one but I don't think we have any problems with it. I'm not sure if we paid extra charge aside from the deal because  I wasn't at home when the guy came out to do the job. We've used them before and they are the one who installed the water system in our house. I don't think they standout exemplary or horribly bad but the service that they have provided to us was what we expected."

"In the fall of 2015, we needed our roof replaced due to hail damage. Ian Smith provided a quote, and came out when the insurance adjuster was there. Ian was very upfront that they wouldn't be able to start very quickly, since they were booked. In the meantime, some "boots" on the roof began to leak, and they came out and patched those. The roof took quite awhile to replace, as they had to strip two layers of shingles. There were very thorough and did a beautiful job. We haven't found any debris in the yard or bushes, and they cleaned everything up thoroughly.
In February, 2016, we wanted to have our ceilings redone. Earlier owners of the house had done a "do-it-yourself" texture on the ceilings, and we needed old and unused vents closed up and drywalled. They said it would probably be a few weeks until they could get to us, but two days later, they were able to start. They did a beautiful job. You can't even see where they patched in. They also cleaned the walls and fixtures really well, and didn't track drywall dust all over the house. Again, when they left, you wouldn't have known they were ever there.

"Mike was amazing, and, despite my obvious lack of savvy on all things electric, was very understanding. He explained that I did not need my recessed light replaced - that it was not shorted out by water from a bath above, but was actually a blown bulb from the water leak instead! Since he did not have to install a new light fixture, he applied my credit for it to the extra work involved in my ceiling fan install. He was fast, friendly, very professional and thorough. He arrived exactly on time. I had him quote me a price on a new light and switch for my cellar and will have him do it as soon as I get paid."

"The job went very well. All of the employees were pleasant and helpful and took the time to explain what was happening and what my options were. They initially came to unclog a blockage ($99 charge) and attempted to unclog it for 2+ hours before they realized it might be a bigger issue. Because they did not solve the issue they did not charge me for that initial visit and came back with a camera to diagnose the issue, which was a collapsed sewer line. I was impressed and happy at the level of comittment to solving the problem they demonstrated to solving the problem.
