"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "John did an excellent job on our wall and getting us through the permit and inspection process. It was a large project and the end result was excellent! The wall required a 4'x1' footing with an 18" key. The wall was laid and filled in multiple steps to accommodate the inspectors due to the size of the wall. Drainage was installed as per code and the backfill was compacted. It was finished with stucco giving it a nice appearance. The driveway was replaced during this project as the slope was wrong and water shed towards the house. Now all the water goes where it should! This project included demo of the old failing wall and the driveway."

"Our experience with Apollo Pavers was exceptional.  We contacted four different paver companies, and Apollo was the only company to create a professional design up front.  Paola, Apollo's design architect, even revised our design (complete with CAD drawing) at no charge before a contract was signed.  Her design was beautiful, and incorporated all of our original ideas plus some thoughts of her own.  The contract itself was very detailed and professional, and clearly spelled out every phase of the project.
Everyone in the company was very pleasant to deal with, and patiently answered all of our questions, both up front and throughout the project.  The work proceeded without delay, and there were no surprises.  The workers were all friendly and courteous, and worked extremely hard.  Apollo promptly replaced the sod in the front yard which was damaged during the project, as was promised in the beginning.

"Not as well as I hoped. This is my second metal patio cover. The previous cover was done by another contractor whose professionalism and quality were stellar. Tom's was less so by contrast. The bid did not specify what was to be done with the excavated footing soil. As such I was left to dispose of soil. My bad, I should have addressed it. However, I cannot help but feel a professional company would have brought up my lack of foresight. Tom's company seems to sell the job out to an installer. This created a communication issue between the 3 of us. The installer was also hurried. Workmanship could also have been better, especially compared to my other cover. I'm not talking about materials. Specifically, cuts, measurements, and installation techniques."
