"We read the other reviews and we decided to book based off of them, however our experience was very different. First I will say that the mold was removed and Dan appeared to do a good job with that. Our biggest complaint was communication. We had taken a day off of work to be there for it to be done and when I texted to confirm our appointment he canceled 5 minutes prior to his arrival time. We rescheduled and this continuously happened. Our times were pushed back, rescheduled, or canceled and each time we got ridiculous excuses. Any time we reach out whether it be phone call, text, or email, we would not get a response and often had to send several follow ups. He came out and retested for our 6 month follow up on May 9th and said the results would be sent the next day and of course we have not gotten anything. The communication has been terrible and nothing has been done in a timely manner. He left the air scrubbers at our house for over a week and we continuously have to ask him to send results or follow up. While the first original job seemed good, we are absolutely fed up with the lack of communication and would not recommend to anyone considering using this company. For as much money as we spent, we expected to be able to get in contact with him, but that does not happen."

"I had Home Solutions Handyman replace a wooden door between my garage and home. The original door never really closed that well, strong windstorms would often blow it open despite being locked, and had about a one inch gap between the bottom of the door and interior flooring that we had to use a draft snake to keep the heat/air from going out into the garage (and bugs from just walking in). After being annoyed with this door since I purchased my home twelve years ago, I finally decided to do something about it. The gentleman who came out to do the estimate was prompt and listened to my thoughts and what I wanted from the replacement. I received a detailed and accurate quote via email a day or two later. The quote was only for labor and stated that I would supply the replacement door and lock set. I didn't have an issue with that since it allow me to pick out a door from a local big box store with a minimum of dents or other damage and get a lockset that matched the others in my home. The technician, named Steve I believe, was on-time and seemed very detailed with his work ensuring the door was properly installed. He went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. After a couple of weeks, the door works perfectly fine and we are very happy with the quality of his workmanship. I am certainly considering Home Solutions Handyman for other carpentry projects I need done around the house as our budget allows."

He took a walk around the outside of the property prior to our arrival, so he already had a good feel of what he was going to be looking at. He was professional, kind, funny and extremely helpful. Answering any and all questions we had while walking through the property and giving his recommendations on what should be fixed straight away. I definitely would use Ryan again in the future. "Ranger showed up at my house half drunk and smelling of stale beer. He suggested that I couldn't afford the repair and an estimate was never provided. He just left. I guess if they think you're broke they don't want your business. How could they possibly know what my finances are or aren't? Just as well because I wouldn't want to hire someone that's under the influence of drugs anyway. I'm certain they wouldn't have done the repair properly while drunk."
