This company deserves 10/5 stars in all honesty. We had been experiencing a number of health issues that prompted us to look into getting an Air Quality test. We put in a request on Home Advisor and Taylor with ZeroMold was the first to call within minutes. A couple simple questions he asked about what we were experiencing and within 10min from the time I placed the request on Home Advisor we were booked and scheduled for an estimate appointment. The estimate day comes, we get a courtesy call letting us know his ETA, he arrives, very professional and very knowledgeable about mold and toxic material in general but he was also very serious about how severe the issue we were having was. My wife and I were truly unaware of just how bad and toxic the air we and our dog were breathing. Taylor gave what I would call scientific facts about the effects of mold along with the why and how this was urgent for us to fix regardless of if we chose Zero Mold or not he Genuinely cared about our welfare. Now to the good part. The day comes for the fumigation to take place. Again we got a courtesy call about 30min ahead letting us know his ETA. We arrived to let him in so that he could begin remediation. The process took about 2.5-3hrs from the time I left him at the house to the time I got his call stating that he was finished. A few hrs later upon returning to the house I was able to tell an immediate difference in my breathing when I stepped inside, the air not only had a clean smell to it but to my Lungs it felt better! I felt like I was finally breathing fresh air. I went to the main troubled areas we had most of the mold and where it was most difficult to breatheâ ¦I was able to breathe without any restriction/heaviness/stuffiness or any of the other breathing issues we were having prior. "Ted from Biotek noted that since I had already done some home project work, the fix needed was actually something I could do myself. He gave great feedback on the root problem for moisture continuing to build up was the lack of a hose feeding to a vent from the bathroom fan, and that a simple dryer hose running to an existing vent exit in the attic would help on that front. He then gave steps on using a vinegar solution, elbow grease, and letting the area dry for several days (avoid that shower) after killing the existing mold, before applying a layer of mold sealing primer (like Killz). He saved me at least $2500 compared to some quotes I'd received to take care of the problem."

"We had an issue with the AC unit in our crawl which caused a mold condition. Mold spores were circulating throughout or home unbeknownst to us at the time. The condition was found after an extensive search given that our daughter experienced sever symptoms that no other family member experienced. Our daughter was diagnosed with a CIRS condition which made her more prone to mold amounts that others would not normally be sensitive to. We had 2 contractors replace our AC unit and crawl ducts followed by a full encapsulation. We then requested 4 quotes to remediate the dead spores from our 2 level home. The quotes were all over the place with one being opportunistically high given our location and daughters condition. Mold Hunter provided a fair quote and we went with their services. Job took a few weeks to schedule. The crew arrived promptly on the appointment day. The job took 3 days to complete with large scrubbers running 24/7. Air testing was performed which indicated a positive outcome. When we reintroduced our daughter to the home she felt sensitivity to the in home environment. We called the owner of Mold Hunter Mike Smith, who came to our home and spent an hour reviewing our situation to better understanding our daughters sensitivities. Mike offered to bring back a crew and add a protocol for remediation that was suggested by my daughters health provider. It was at no additional expense to us. The additional protocol was recommended after the initial remediation and only after our daughters symptoms were still present.
