Had quote which seemed very high and included work that seemed unnecessary from another vendor for ~$3K. Healthy Home came out and quickly concluded there was NO mold but did offer to do a test for $250-$300 that would confirm this (if needed) or for peace of mind. They admitted the test would confirm what they were saying- mold was not present on the fiberglass insulation under the plastic. it was simply dirt and replacing the dirty insulation would take care of the black appearance. "I needed someone to test for mold as I had been diagnosed with a pulmonary mold disorder. When they arrived they immediately showed expertise in these matters and were concerned about my overall health and the state of my home. As it turns out one of my biggest issues was dust. To get better and be in remission so to speak the dust has to be reduced in my home first. They stated it would not pass a mold test right now there was no need to test and I needed a special cleaning. If I had the money I would have used them. I ended up getting some family together to get the job done as the price was out of my budget.
