"ASHER KING AND LAURYN DAVIDSON CAME TO OUR HOME TO HELP ME CHOSE WHICH PATIO DOOR I WANTED IN THE MASTER BEDROOM. I AM DISABLED BY CRIPPLING PAIN AND DUE TO TWO BROKEN HERRINGTON RODS IN MY BACK HAVE TO SIT AND WALK MY WHEELCHAIR. THEY MADE SURE THERE WOULD BE ROOM FOR ME TO NAVIGATE THE DOOR AND LET ME KNOW THE DOOR WOULD NEED A RAMP OVER THE TRACK FOR HELPING THE CHAIR GO OVER. IN FACT, THEY SPENT A GREAT DEAL OF TIME TO THE DOOR I WOULD NEED. WE DISCUSSED PROBLEMS THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE MET TO REPLACE MY OLD PATIO DOOR. BOTH THE SALESPEOPLE WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE COMPANY THEY WORK FOR, THE INSURANCE, AND THE PROCESS THAT GOES INTO MAKING THE DOOR. THEY WERE VERY INTO THE HISTORY OF DABELLA, AND HAD NONE OF THE TIRED REPEATING THE SAME OLD THING MOST SALESPEOPLE HAVE. THEY WERE VERY INTO DABELLA LIKE THEY WERE INDEED SECOND FAMILY. AFTER SPENDING AN AFTERNOON WITH THESE SWEET PEOPLE I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THE DOOR BECAUSE OF THE VA GUIDELINES WHICH SAY I HAVE TO HAVE GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR THE DOOR AND MY PLUMBING IN ORDER TO USE MY VA GRANT. THEY DIDN'T EVEN BLINK TWICE. THEY REALLY ARE NICE PEOPLE. AND THEY DO KNOW THEIR BUSINESS. I WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THEM ANYTIME."

Eventually, after Jed and I grew older, dad decided to become a General Contractor. After the transition, we did a lot of property management work. There is not much that we cannot do. Siding, windows, doors, flooring, and more. We can fix low spots in your floor from settling. If you have new appliances, we can install them. Dry rot is not a problem. We have built several decks and brought some up to code for earthquakes. Roofing is fun when you have a good partner like my brother. Also, we keep our work spaces clean and don't mind taking off our shoes if necessary.
