"I am pleased to provide this review of The Exceptional & World Class Shecter DNB Company & Team: I am a retired Physician with a 17 year history of real estate development, having ground up built 10 Luxury Custom investment properties in the Greater Tulsa OK area, which has blessed my wife and I with extensive experience in Home Improvement & Residential Construction. Flash forward to this past February severe southern CA rain/hail/wind storms that caused significant damage to our home forcing us to replace our roof and seek expert General Contractor to complete 2 critical projects. First, have our Veranda deck off the master bedroom rebuilt, and second, to demolish and push out and rebuild our side gate with adequate access to our backyard for first responders in the event of an emergency, as the existing gate wall (built 45 years prior) only provided 20" of passage way space and was in violation of current building & safety code for Life Safety. I was referred to Sam Shecter (GC) by our Solar De & Reinstaller during our re-roofing. I met Sam at our home and made a new friend. I described the 2 projects, identified my concerns, budget considerations, timeline, and urgency. I immediately recognized, after doing my research on their website (very impressive) prior to our meeting. Sam and his exec assistant Or Yostin, were meticulous in their approach, insightful in their wise counsel, and demonstrated excellent end-to-end communication throughout the entire 3-4 week construction timeline. As you can see in the photos, both the deck (CaliBamboo Luxury Vinyl Composite planks) and the relocation and rebuild of the south gate wall were constructed with detail oriented precision, the highest quality materials (Veranda: pressure treated redwood joist framework over red guard elastomeric covered cement foundation & Gate Wall with footing, cement block with rebar, and wall caps & pilasters on top and Tuscany Scabas Ledgestone veneer on the face) in addition to the widening of the existing South Gate Wall path with matching Angelus Copper Mocha Adobe Pavilion Paver Stones that turned out to be spectacular and elegant. The quality and workmanship of Shecter DNB construction is the same no matter the location; Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, Calabasas, or in our case Chatsworth, CA...extraordinary. Sam and his team were meticulous, efficient, respectful, announced their entry and exit each and every day, brought logical and insightful suggestions and midcourse correction ideas that came to beautiful fruition, and were clean and courteous every step of the way. The project was completed to 100% perfection (and I am VERY critical detail oriented and OCD when it comes to construction), with no stone left unturned, and Sam Shecter was present and visited the property to check on his teams' progress over 80% of the time. This is unheard of in the industry and that is precisely why I am unconditionally & wholeheartedly recommending that ANYONE and Everyone at least give Sam and his team a chance to consult on your project and, like our family, experience what excellence in Residential Home Construction and Improvement should be like.
