He was the only contractor to give me a detailed written estimate, which was also lower than the two other verbal estimates I received. His crew built the structures at the same time, using rebar and proper slope calculations. The ramp has a gentle incline that meets code, and the broom finish provides good traction. The steps are wider than before, with a landing that improves access. City inspectors visited to check compliance, and the project passed. The combination design works well for our family and makes the entry more functional. It?s practical, durable, and complements the rest of the exterior improvements nicely."

After much measuring and estimating, the cost came in around $15 dollars per square foot. I had an idea of 9 dollars, from articles on the Internet.
