I my opinion he should have had a hole saw and curved shingle blades for his knife and then a large flat blade knife to easily pry shingles loose prior to installing the boot and then an actual hammer to pound the nails down along with installing a few more hold downs and "Black Jacking/roof tar" on all exposed nail heads and around the boot. But I would hire this man again, no hesitation."
