"Swanick Builders were not consistent with time lines. They would make choices that we as the homeowners should have been consulted on or made. Builders made many mistakes of placement or painting wrong colors from chosen /discussed choices made by us. When talked to about this they would state its a focal point. Level of work has been found to be subpar at best, needing other professionals to come correct. Sub contractors utilized by builders were subpar putting hole in roof . all in all they should not have taken such a large job and we would not be hiring ever again. "

They indicated they were about 3 weeks out and told us then approx when they would be ready to do the work and call a couple of days in advance.. They did ! Said it would be donecas we scheduled a couple of days out. They came with a 4 man crew and completed the job in 2 days!!!! Very professional, timely, courteous group that worked quickly and effiently. Job was done well and all loose ends tied up and they up thoroughly upon completion. GREAT JOB. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"Honeycomb helped save our house. As they were replacing our deck, they discovered rot and quickly removed and replaced all the bad material. They also discovered that we had a termite infestation. The issue was in the structure of the house. They assured us everything would be fine and efficiently dispatched all the rot and talked us through next steps with detailed recommendations, involving other contractors. The additional charge to remove the rot was minimal and I would have gladly paid 10x for the security of having a safe house. And just look at how beautifully it turned out. The photos really don't do it justice, when you get to sit out there enjoying a coffee in the morning or actually having a family gathering. It is such a game changer meeting space. Also, and it might seem like a little thing, but its the details that matter. It was really hard for me to get on my deck as a physically handicapped person. "Once again and with the highest confidence, we hired Russell's Contracting to convert our back entrance into a more open, useful mudroom. As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. I was amazed at the level of detail necessary to make the new mudroom perfect. From fixing the ceiling to installing new walls, taping and sanding, painting, new baseboards, and moving the overhead light, it was fun to watch. Colby was professional, exacting, efficient, clean, and asked all the right questions to ensure we were happy with the result. The new mudroom is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we asked Russell's to help us figure out how to make our open staircase to the second floor safer. Keith, Colby, and Max designed and installed a custom-built, stair-to-ceiling railing system that looks great and provides the necessary safety we were looking for. They also made it removable to accommodate large objects up and down stairs. The amount of time they spent was crazy, and the amount of math they did to ensure it was plumb and solid was above and beyond our expectations. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece. "Garrett and his team removed a load bearing wall for us to create a larger living room. The job required demo, architect drawings, inspection, installing LVL beams, adding recessed lights, replacing wood flooring, and drywall. The whole job took about 4-5 weeks. Garrett walked us through the whole process and was always very prompt. If he said he would show up at 9 AM, he would show up at 9 AM. He was also very upfront about our costs?no surprises. Our new living room looks great! I highly recommend Garrett for any renovations!"
