Get matched with top blown in insulation install or upgrade pros in Caratunk, ME

"This was our first time using Apollo Insulation and Geremy and Dennis did an excellent job removing our old (rodent droppings and urine) insulation. They disinfected and repaired any damage caused by the rodents. New insulation was blown in and we couldnâ t be happier. From the initial inspection and quote Geremy was on top of keeping us informed on what would be done to complete the job. Apollo Insulation cleaned up behind them inside and outside leaving our home with no mess. The price was very reasonable and we were very pleased and satisfied with the quality of the work. I highly recommend Apollo Insulation for any of your insulation needs. Very hardworking and professional service company. Bill and Anne G Wayne, Maine"

"Job started a day later than scheduled due to their equipment being down. Job was originally scheduled for 5-7 days. Job actually took 2 weeks and salesman called into the third week saying the job was done. We have never had mold remediation done before and was selling our house. The explanation of how the job would go was vague at best. This is not a process we are familiar with having never been through it before. In the estimate there was a blanket statement of “any construction materials removed will not be replaced” (once again we were never explained anything about this process in regards to things being removed). Upon the job being completed the buyer noticed there was no mention of insulation replacement. We were 2 days from closing and had to hire someone to replace the insulation. The handyman hired to replace the insulation noticed other items had been removed by octagon. We were not left a list of items removed from the residence. I was just told by Matt Brown that “that’s why I gave you a referral of a weatherization company” for 8300$ one would think you might get a verbal explanation of items needing replacement or at least an itemized list. Hope we don’t need to go through this again because as Octagon will not be contacted again."

"David provided work in a timely and professional manner. David is dependable and did an excellent job with both insulation and a fencing job. Call him for what you need!!"

"Service was performed as requested. Update of old electrical wiring was undertaken successfully so new lighting could be installed. I would use this client again.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"He was awesome.  He called back, but he was working in Reed field, North Carolina and he could not get to us for a couple of days.  By the time, he got to us we had already gotten the other estimates, and we were pleased with him.  Hampton guy was great.  He was really quick to get back to us, but he had other projects that he had already lined up.  The experience was very satisfactory.  He was very courteous, and prompt.  He was very honest in saying that he cannot get to us, and if we needed to have this work done now, then we need to have to get somebody else.  I appreciated that."
