"I got several quotes from companies that specialize in pergolas. I wanted something that was contemporary while keeping cost and quality in mind. I also wanted to customize a few things to allow for limited sun exposure without having a full cover on top as our yard faces West. I worked with Tony who is a sales rep for the company. He wasn’t pushy and came prepared to walk me through their offerings. We exchanged several texts and calls as I kept coming up with mind blowing ideas every hour (ok maybe I was just crazy). Regardless, he was attentive and addressed every suggestion. The village took about 2 months to approve my permit due to Covid and limited resources and it was finally time for the install. Levi was our installer. If I owned this company, Levi is who I’d want working for me. He treated us as if he owned the company himself and was very attentive to me pointing out things before he was even done with the job. He assured me everything will be fine once the pergola is up, things are sealed and a final coat of paint is applied. He was absolutely correct. There were some issues that I addressed and Levi did everything in his control to make things the way we wanted. The wood comes from the mill and the two boards in the front of our pergola were not aligned as they were/are different in size by about a half inch. The two boards meet in the middle of our pergola as it’s about 28ft wide. He shaved off where the boards meet and made it look as seamless as possible. The wood from the mill is also very rough and while it gives it a rustic look it can cause splinters if somebody was to rub against it. The only thing I wish I knew ahead of time was how the wood felt. We may get it sanded down in the future as we have a basketball court attached to our patio and kids may run into the wood. As of now it looks great and we’re just waiting on some touch up paint or paint codes so we can go and buy paint from Sherwin Williams. I highly recommend working with this company."

"This was our third hiring of Champion since last spring. The first time it was a kitchen window and patio door. The second was a four season sunroom (which they're building now). Now it was two entry doors. Aaron Willhoite was the salesman we met with this time. He was very friendly and answered our many questions about why they're doors are different then the big box stores, Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but once we figured the price in the long run wasn't much more and less headaches, we went with Champion again. Yes, we did run into delays with the sunroom, then again Corvid did cause problems everywhere. "If  you want to hire an experienced contractor that understands time allowance, costs, and the right way to do things, hire Jack.  He finished my kitchen renovation that another contractor left unfinished a year ago.  I called Jack to paint, trim down, and install my closet door, properly finish my engineered flooring, including 5 thresholds the original contractor left undone, build and paint all my trim work, including custom made base, window, and door trim to match the rest of my house.   Jack finished painting what was left unpainted, filled in nail holes, sanded and painted throughout my kitchen.  He installed 2 built-in shelves,  3 door locks, hung 2 heavy mirrors and a coat rack for me.  He even stacked 3 cabinets on my back kitchen wall for me to give me more storage.  My kitchen is finally completed to my satisfaction, thanks to Jack.   I am very happy.
     Jack is a likable guy.  If you are honest with him, he will be honest with you.  He is a professional at what he does and it shows.  My job took a couple of days longer than estimated, but Jack stayed true to his original cost.
