"I hired , after in-depth researching , this company to do close sell, blown in insulation to include fiberglass bats for a detached garage and a single-story home of which I had the substantial Crawlspace also insulated. You need not look any further. This was the most excellent service and install for a fair price as well. Their equipment is top notch, clean, and new and when they showed up to the site with the first team, which was the insulation team with a very expensive Foam pump they went right to work did an incredible job cleaned up behind themselves were very organized, and then the second team came in with the fiberglass bats and the same experience. The follow-through by the manager Andre was better than you can even imagine. He checked all of the work was there on the site for most of it and made sure that anything but I needed it was done at 100%. Iâ ve hired a lot of subcontractors in the most important part is making sure you get someone who is trustworthy, honest and hard-working and Andre and Isaiah and their cruise at PNW insulation. Are these people! They came out to Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands, even though they are based in Pacific Washington, but if you look at their website, they do work all over the state. They showed up on time worked super hard and every single one of their workers were friendly and super hard-working. These two brothers have built their business on trust, hard work and excellence and Iâ m sure thereâ s other companies out there that do a good job as well but these guys are at 100% in my eyes. They did a variety of closed Cell flashing back where you spray 4 inches of closed, sell insulation and then use fiberglass bats on the rest for the Cathedral ceiling they also used a different form to sell in any leaks and weâ re incredibly extensive in their work underneath the house. We have a 12 foot crawlspace that goes down to about 3 feet. That was all close. Cell insulated on the cold concrete walls along with a six mil vapor barrier and fiberglass batts on the floor joists. The entire garage was insulated in the walls and the ceiling and they went above and beyond to make sure any pecks pipes were super well insulated on the outside walls. The prep work was super impressive as they used plastic over all the windows and anything in the new construction that wouldâ ve gotten overspray. They cleaned up 100% and left a beautiful professional space. When theyâ re finished, they donâ t just disappear. You will hear from Andre to check up and make sure everything was done to perfection. Iâ m not kidding and I know construction. This is a great company to doing your work. I noticed through my research that the reviews were very good as well and I was impressed that their price was also very good and competitive. Yet they work the best of the best. "This company is fantastic! 1. Out of the 5 companies I was considering for insulation replacement (yes 5), their quote was the only one that was itemized and understandable. You knew each task you were paying for as well as what the workers were promising to deliver, which is extremely important when dealing with contractors. I found this out having met with 20+ over the last month. 2. They had the most reasonable price, and Rory in particular worked to volunteer his expertise on what our situation needed/did not need with an honesty that is hard to come by because it did not come off as self-serving or trying to take advantage of our lack of expertise. 3. They were reliable, on time, and very communicative every step of the way. They touched base frequently about our complicated situation, they were available for price discussions, and they were direct in communicating arrival and finishing times. I was extremely impressed. 4. The individuals at this company went above and beyond the call of duty. Rory was a pleasure to deal with; he reminds me of the neighbor you want to have because he has great advice, good contacts if you need work outside his company, and reasonable suggestions for what you can do to fix things, and to boot he was extremely available. He even answered our many calls with random questions off-work hours AND he volunteered to come out himself again outside of work hours just to help figure out the steps to fixing our problem. Debbie was affable and an organized presence on the phone. The other staff we worked with- Santiago, Rafael, Luis, and Felix- were all extremely courteous and hardworking during the projects. 5. They worked to coordinate with other contractors without me having to micromanage anyone. I had a roofing company, arborist/tree service, and vent cleaners on site. They were able to navigate their own working space and work in tandem on the roof with the roofers to replace the insulation on the cathedral portion of the house when the underdeck was ripped off, as well as add baffles appropriately. 6. They brainstormed to fix problems we were having at extremely reasonable prices. Example: The attic portion of my home was missing half the ceiling (had to be removed because of extensive mold damage) and they helped me place drywall so we could replace the insulation on the timeline we initially agreed to. It saved my husband and me a lot of money and heartache. What more could you want from a company? The biggest impression I walked away with is that this company actually cares about your situation. My husband and I were purchasing a new home in need of a lot of repairs. We have a toddler and I am third-trimester pregnant. With the move, the unpleasant relationship we had with the previous owners of our home, the strain on our finances, and the overwhelming stress of finding new problems everywhere we looked, I can only say I am extremely grateful we went with Madrona Home Services. "I requested an inspection of our attic to assess what needed to be done to improve its condition. I thought it may need an upgrade. Other venders earlier had told me that they would recommend new and/or added insulation, air sealing, mold treatment, etc. to the tune of multiple thousands of dollars. Brennen from Attic Doctor was the one who did our inspection. He explained why our attic really did not need much work to make it good. Contrary to others, he said we didn't need to upgrade our insulation, but just rearrange the already-adequate batting to free up the soffit vents and cover gaps, along with doing my own air leaks sealing or hiring a handyman at a much lower cost. He said we had no mold, as was asserted by another vendor. Washington State does not oversee the insulation vendors well so many can throw out their shingle with minimum expertise (effective lobbyists in Olympia?). Brennen has a college degree in construction science and knows his stuff. He was also honest with me"
