"I found Liberty on Angie's list two years ago. They have been here 3 times and I'm very satisfied each time. This time there was also a minor repair and this was conducted to my satisfaction. They get out water and food stains and wear and tear very well. I have no pet stains or odors so can't speak to that. Try them - they have treated my carpet expertly and they are congenial and polite, professional!"

"Excellent in every way.  They were extremely professional, arrived when they said they would, did what they said they would, and explained everything very well. <br /> I thought the floor might have to be replaced because it was in very bad shape but when Dave came to do the estimate he determined it could withstand one more sanding.  They just finished it a couple of days ago and it looks GREAT - you'd never know it had been in such bad shape.  It was so nice to have a reliable professional company to work with. <br /> I was also amazed that they were able to do the job with virtually NO sawdust and minimal smell from the stain and coating.  They say they have a "Dust-free" process and it's really true.  So no messy clean-up to worry about after they were done. <br />"

"Very professional. Always on time. Very informative. Communication went well on any updates or concerns and other issues. Worked well with my schedule. Always called before they left if I was not at the home. Kept me updated throughout the install. Only issue, carpet install was delayed due to only sending 1 guy out for the initial install and he was injured. Delayed carpet install by a day and a half. Second crew for carpet excellent, professional and informative. Would like to have them back again for future jobs! <br />"

"Excellent support from the store and from the installer. Took longer than expected but it was because the installer ensured everything was installed correctly. I did have to paint above baseboard as it was lowered - wasn't aware of that but not an issue. After I did have a spot on the flooring and the Manager from Loveland Design came over to remove and left me the product he utilized. All in all couldn't be happier and will utilize them for the future when I have other flooring needs."

"James Sutton was a pleasure to work with and he did an excellent job. First of all, he called us back, promptly. He always returned our calls right away and answered all of our questions. We began with a small bathroom remodel and had James build a new laminate counter top with integrated sink for the vanity. We had seen a sample of his work in a kitchen and bath cabinet shop and really liked how the sink was integrated with a laminate counter top. The counter top and integrated sink are wonderful and look great. There was some project scope creep when he started on the new tile back splash, we asked if he could replace the wood shelf with tile in the window box in the bedroom. He was more than gracious about this side project. When the wood shelf came out we discovered there was nothing under the wood but framing and insulation. James installed an underlayment and backing material and the tile and only passed on the cost for the backing material. We were so pleased with his work we asked him to give us an estimate for replacing the laminate on the kitchen counter tops. The house is 21 years old and the laminate was beginning to show some wear, and it was a little dated. The new laminate in the kitchen looks great and so does the new tile work. James is a professional and he was very respectful and considerate with us and our home. He cleaned up the job site every evening took great care to keep dust to a minimum in our home. James does a great job at a reasonable price. I already have another project in mind and I will hire James again."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Carr, CO

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
