"We hired Barrier Construction to take care of some stucco issues and repair some structural damage on our house. They were great to work with. They were able to deal with both the structural issues AND the stucco issues, while all other companies we spoke to only dealt with one or the other (meaning we would have to hire and coordinate multiple contractors) and they did a great job. They even noticed and corrected some cosmetic issues (for al fee) that another company had created when working on the house. (They were a mild annoyance whenever we looked at the house but would have been a big lift for us to fix ourselves, and we appreciated their proactive approach when we felt the other company had been fairly neglectful and inattentive to detail in their work). While other general contractors we’ve worked with have been difficult to get ahold of or generally haven’t felt very ‘present’, Barrier was easy to communicate with, they kept us updated, were very responsive, and answered all of our questions. "Dennis is great.  When I called him to get the work done, he was very busy, but he worked with my schedule to find a time to squeeze me into his. 
There was a lot of work, all of it in frankly unrewarding small pieces.  This is the kind of work we all have around our house, needing to get done, but not every painter that you call in is willing to do it.  Dennis is extremely patient and willing to add extras on to the original project when you belatedly discover that there is more to be done.  I discovered some damage to my exterior paint work the day before Dennis and his crew came over--they hadn't brought a tall enough ladder with them, but were great about the extra trip that had to be made to get it.
The bottom line--Dennis (and his crew) are extremely professional and great people to work with.  I've worked with Dennis on various parts of my home for the past six years: ceilings (and ceiling repair), the complete exterior, rooms, sills, trim and walls.  Every time he has been out, he makes it easy for me.  The job is always done right, if issues occur he fixes them, and his clean-up is meticulous.

Greg's crew was not only pleasant, but they were at work every day they were scheduled AND on time.  The cement crew even stayed late one night until 9pm!  The siding looks great, the grading is exactly how we wanted it, and the garage door and window is a perfect match to our house.  The electrician was also very professional and was happy to accommodate our special requests for a special RV 50-amp service panel.  
The project finished on-time and on-budget.  I would highly recommend Greg for your project.  He is a smart contractor who created a high quality project and as a bonus has a great, pleasant and fun personality."
