"As an interior designer, I've had the opportunity to work with Brian and Excelsior on several projects including my own remodel. Brian is always professional with excellent attention to detail and a deep knowledge that only comes with being a 3rd generation plumber. On my personal project, all three of these qualities were surely tested. Only weeks after moving into my new home, I had a gurgling toilet, laundry soap suds baking up into sink drains, and finally a back up into my guest bathtub. Brian first checked that all my vents were clear, but the problem returned. On his second visit, I watched a frustrated but determined Brian mentally walk thru all of the pipes he had laid months before and decide exactly where to cut out a section to scope. In doing so, he finally found the problem. A solid piece of scrap pvc was lodged inside one of the pipes acting as a one way valve! I really appreciated Brian listening to me, believing that there was a problem to find, and doing everything he could to find it and fix it. For these reasons I am quick to recommend Brian and Excelsior Plumbing."

"Raymond, Jamie and Mitch brought in a horizontal drilling team and replaced the blown out galvanized main water feed from the street meter to the house in 8 hours. 80' of new poly 1" water line all the way into the basement with zero impact to our landscape (see photo). Kudos to the drilling team who tunneled under an old dogwood tree, under a concrete sidewalk and dropped the line right on the mark at the exact depth. If you want the best, call GForce."

"Fil and his crew did an excellent job remodeling my bathroom; tile from flor to ceiling, floor tile, new plumbing and sink installation. He and his crew were prompt and professional, starting two days after Christmas. Condo is a historic building that had hidden issues related to previous renovation. Schedule was impacted by unanticipated changes, but the crew worked until everything was completed. Cost was reasonable, too include a change order for an emergency repair unrelated to the bath remodel. Fil was responsive to my questions and provided cost saving recommendations. "The owner was responsive to provide a bid and started work on the agreed upon day. The foundation repair seems to be of good quality and I would recommend them for this type of repair. They work met all expectations for this portion of the project. We included a small tuck pointing project on a wall and masonry refinishing of a porch step as part of the contract. This small part of the project overshadows the entire job based on the poor quality of work. The pictures below show the tuck pointing AFTER the first attempt to fix the problem. They did not even touch the worst bricks at the top and poorly applied masonry on the bottom part as shown in the picture. On the step, they patched the a portion that was flaking and left the remainder of the step untouched. The owner said he didn't think we had agreed to fix the whole step (why would anyone only patch one foot of a six foot step? ...and it was specified in the contract). He made the requested repairs after the first attempt and less than two weeks later, the second picture shows the end results. It crumbled like sand without touching it! I emailed the owner and asked how he would like to handle the situation and he never responded back. Masonry work is not their specialty....Floors Sag and Shake doesn't apply to masonry! I don't normally write reviews, but I can't let this go without sharing."
