"By the time we started demo-ing our kitchen and entryway, I had been in design mode for over a year. I had a specific vision and Steve worked with me until we got it right. After seeing Steve’s cabinets in a neighbor’s house, I knew I wanted the same quality and workmanship. Steve worked with our budget by redesigning the plans several times which included full kitchen cabinetry, a large island, and an entryway bench. I wanted stained cabinets with strong woodgrain and Steve and his finishing team provided multiple samples until I knew it was exactly what I wanted. When the install was done and I saw the kitchen and entry for the first time, I cried. They were exactly what I envisioned and more. They are beautiful and sturdy (the slides are quality--I’ve got them loaded up!) Despite COVID and quarantine, Steve was able to stick to our original install schedule. His team is professional, skilled, and friendly. The money we spent on the cabinets were worth every cent. Six months after our install, I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and works incredibly fast. We did a full gut renovation of our kitchen, installed new flooring throughout the main level of our home, removed a dining room wall and replaced a window. All of this was completed in 5 weeks. "Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"The guys that work for Cady Handyman were on time and showed up when they said they would. They installed a custom made shower for us that turned out beautiful. We needed it finished before the closing on our house, and they did everything including staying late in order to get it finished."

"Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."

"He did a really good job. We had got a lot of quotes for knocking our wall out and we weren't getting answers from other contractors that we were looking for. Some of them didn't understand what we were asking, but Scott understood what we needed and he was able to conceptualise exactly what it was that we were telling him. And he came and they finished the job on time. They cleaned up very well and everyone was very professional. He had two sub-contractors that worked for him; an electrician and a young man who was doing our drywall, and both of them were very professional. We are actually using him again for another project in October."
