"I hired E.T. General Contractor, Inc. and worked closely with Julio on a fairly large backyard cleanup. My backyard is about 9,000 sq. ft., and I received seven estimates. Julio’s estimate was in the middle of the range, but the main reason we chose him was the impression he made during our first conversation. He came out, inspected the property, talked through the options, and provided thoughtful recommendations based on what he saw. I was initially interested in a larger project based on his recommendations, but ultimately decided to start with a general cleanup that included removing weeds, stumps, dead trees, and 1–2 truckloads of debris. From start to finish, Julio and his crew were communicative, honest, professional, and easy to work with. Deciding factors for choosing with King Construction were: lowest price; contractor came to my home to see the damage to the deck (…others gave quotes based on pictures alone); he showed me precisely where the damage was by removing one if the columns. The contractor’s quote was based on physical evaluation of the deck…not just on pictures. The whole process was detailed and professional. The final “icing on the cake” was the work performance. The deck was repaired using the required structural items that should have been used in the first place and in the proper manner to sustain the deck. All was done in a professional manner. "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"Mr. George Small the owner came out himself to give me an estimate for putting in a new driveway. He was not pushy and was very respectful. He explained the process and answered my questions. He gave me a verbal estimate which he followed up a few hours later with a written estimate. After he left I had another company come out with an estimate which prompted me to ask additional questions of Mr. Small. He was very responsive in answering my calls in a very timely manner. Once I signed the contract he scheduled the work. The crew showed up as scheduled and finished the job in one day. All the crew members were polite and friendly. You could tell they worked together for a long time because everyone did what they were supposed to do without being told. I only found out later who the supervisor was on the team. Removing a driveway and replacing it is a messy job, but the crew completely cleaned everything up before they left and were very respectful of my property. I can not recommend Falls Church Paving enough. The communication was excellent with Mr. Small and the crew, which is very important to me. The whole experience was so wonderful because it went so smoothly. I credit Mr. Small with knowing exactly what needed to be done and having a wonderful, experienced crew to execute the job."

"They were remarkable. First, they excavated the minimum needed to repair our drain and install the CIPP liner. They saved our front cement and brick staircase (directly over the main house sewer line). They only removed one section of the sidewalk that was over the main house sewer line. When done, they filled and compacted the dirt, covered the lawn with straw (i.e., ready for me to add seed and to avoid erosion) and replaced the damaged sidewalk section. The workers were polite and respectful of both us and our property. There was truly minimal disruption to the household. We could not flush toilets or run water down the drains for about 3 hours each day they worked on the line. We contracted for repair of the pipe that was on our property. They completed this work in two days. We then added re-lining the pipe under the road to the county connection. The team added people for and worked late on the second day. Job done on day 3. The job took 3 days (as promised)."
